the Taj Mahal - From: Agra & Delhi
Amy and Simon, Robert and I have been totally enjoying your writing and photos. Thank you so much. The fact that we are also in the urban planning world makes your observations especially interesting to us. Yes, the Taj is amazing and difficult to describe. I had been wondering recently if it really is as wonderful as I remember, so it's good to get your confirmation. I went on an especially hot day, before bottled water, so I was buzzed on about 12 bottles of Coke when I saw it. Bonnie

Sam likes curries - From: Goa
Don't worry Simon, I'm still impressed that you went to school with Ross Taylor! Do let me know if Indian Mc'Ds isn't as spicy as NZ, and if they really do have lamb big macs, or big maaas, or whatever.... Glad you guys are having a great time, Goa looks amazing! And I'm glad to hear the curries aren't too hot! A tropical beach and a not so spicy curry would go down quite well right now ... it's snowing on the Rimutaka hill today! Looking forward to the next blog!

Just opened my email and this appeared - I think those boulders must actually be elephants and hippos hiding in the water. I am so pleased to see the photos of hampi and will share the colours for painting with my tourism class - we have been looking at festivals and this was part of it. Now I have a data projector in class there are no limits!

WOW - From: Escape from Nepal
WHat an adventure! Some very smart choices had to be made but you would have been so hot, dusty and exhausted. You look very relaxed, surprisingly, at the boarder crossing. What a great feed you had when you finally got there! No Darjeeling tea? Thanks for keeping us up with things. It's great to see your pictures and to hear that you are both OK, even despite adventures. What a story to remember! It's definitely NOT in the 30's here. I'm in ChCh and it's a cool 19 degrees today. Kind regards to you both.

Wow, looks phenominal! The SNOW!! I imagine it'd be insanely cold, in fact, no I couldn't imagine it! I would hate it though! Keep warm. Also DOUBLEY impressed by Simons facial hair, especially in a couple of the latter pictures. Now travelling is bringing out the best in your puberty! haha. LOVE IT! Miss randomly texting you Simon, if you have a contact number there, or skype or something - let me know if you feel like a random chat! Otherwise, please do continue having fun!

Your blogs are great! Thanks for keeping us updated with your adventures. The photos are really awesome and your rich descriptions give us a good picture of what you're up to. Thanks heaps! I'm so envious and would love to have seen these things myself. You're right about NZ being such a young country and it does hit you when you go overseas. Did you get my email about an ex Waicol teacher turning up in my South Auckland school? I sent it on your email. Anyway have fun and stay safe.
