Sarah - my long lost friend!
Hello GSE Team! Wow - is this blog cool or what?! I wish we would've had/done this when our group went to Brazil in 2003. The pictures are great. Sarah - you're lookin' good girl. Miss you terribly but I know that right now, there is no better place in the world than where you're at in New Zealand. Soak it all in and come home soon!

Great Job of Reporting Your Adventures
I am Sarah's Aunt Kay. I just have to let you people know that your reports of your days are great. Love the pictures! We are getting ready for our son's wedding reception and am sorry Sarah will be missing it. But this New Zealand trip is another of those 'one of a lifetime' and shouldn't be missed. By the way Sarah, you'll need to tell cousin Bernie about that Coors hops; for he makes a great glass of Pale Ale at the Blue Cat Brew Pub where he brews at. Have an informative and safe journey everyone! Thanks again for doing this blog!

I thought people might be interested to know Sarah grew up on New Zealand Anchor butter, the best butter in the world, which we always used when we lived in Scotland.

Introduction
Hi Brock - I understand you will be staying with us for some of the time you are here in NZ. I am President of the Rotary Club of Hornby here in Christchurch. My wife Lynn and I have a nearly four year old daughter Kathryn. We live at 3 Chesterfield Mews, Russley. We are part owners of an excavation and earthmoving business here in Christchurch employing thirty people. I am also a Christchurch City Councillor and Lynn is an accountant. I was originally brought up in Western Australia as a farmers son. My brother is still on the farm - mostly grain with some sheep. I came to NZ in 1970 and developed my earthmoving business. I have an older son and daughter and my son is a partner in the business. My email address is pave@clear.net.nz . We are looking forward to welcoming you to Christchurch. Bob, Lynn and Kathryn

Kiwi style Barbecue
I notice your phrase 'Where Barbecue is and art, not a meal". Well add to that some awesome South Island Scenery, fine wine and delicate steak. We may have a challenge on our hands!!!!!!!!!!!!
