Hello!
Nice blog! I'm glad you enjoyed Angkor! There's more temples that you didn't see and if you go more further the temples get larger and larger! Like Beng Melea and Koh Ker Pyramid!

Thanks for the feedback Kristan. I find it hard to take photos of people because I dont want to keep asking them. For some reason, I find it easier in Vietnam.

Land of Bhats......thanks for the memories
Shawn: Hello my firend. Sounds like your visit home was one you will cherish for some time to come. As for Thailand...having een a visitor myself a few year's back (7 weeks after the Tsunami, actually), I delighted in your photos as they sparked wonderful memories of my time at both the ruins of Ayuthaya and the shores of Krabi. Thailand is a lovely place, and its people immensely friendly....earning the reputation of "land of the smiling people"...or something of that sort.... I look forward to your next chronicle entry. Safe travels, my friend. Kristan

the square in front of Potala
Tibet was a part of our honey moon and we were in Lhasa around the end of September. Funny you had the same experience with the military on the square in front of Potala. I decided to sit there because I was just tired after few hours walk. While my husband was taking photo's of the palace I decided to sit on the ground. Out of nowhere appeared a soldier and I told me something in Chinese...I guess 'Move yr a.. from the square". I got up, he saluted me and went away:)

mudumalai wildlife safari
mate, For a decent safari, you should always hitch a ride in the forest department van into the forest. What the big resort guys take you around on night safari is actually on the highway running through the forest. But you do have chances of seeing wildlife. But the thrill of seeing wildlife in daylight is much better in the forest department organised safari you can see some of my bandipur mudumalai wildlife / bird pictures at http://www. wildlifesanctuaryindia.com/wildlife/ Best regards Bala
