All, Well, I am writing this blog from Brussels, Belgium, having just arrived a few hours ago. I'll start with yesterday in Killarney. All, Well, the reason I could bike 500 miles is because I feel like I already did at least 499 of them today. All, Well, I made it to Ireland in good shape. After some crazy traffic in NYC that turned an hour commute to JFK into a 2.5 hour ordeal, I made it on my flight just in time to sit on the runway for an hour and a half. All, Well, my precipitation soaked time in Gotham is over. I am re-packing the backpack and getting ready to head for JFK for my 7pm flight to Dublin, Ireland. Yesterday after I updated the blog, I headed out on the subway, and after getting lost a little bit, ended up down by the former World Trade Center site again, and from there walked to Battery Park. All, Well, my journey has begun. I woke up yesterday at 6 am, got my backpack organized, and headed off to the airport. Packing a backpack for 6 weeks was much more intimidating that I thought it would be, in the end i ended up with 7 t-shirts, 4 long sleeve t-shirts, 7 pairs of socks, 7 boxer shorts, and a fleece. All, Well, the trip has essentially begun. The backpack has been brought out of storage and dusted off, the new pair of tennis shoes have been purchased and broken in, the IPOD is being updated as i type, the plane reservations have been checked and re-checked and the money is almost all lined up. 10 weeks from today, I will be in Ireland, on Day 1 of my second Eurotrip. Ok, here is the deal: I am going to Europe for a 45 day backpacking extravaganza on aug 19th. This will be my second trip across the pond.
