I'm sorry to hear that you got sick. But How amazing is it that you can go through something like that and still come out of it happy to be there and not let it get you down! You sound like you have a lot of strength and a good perspective on things. That's the love and spirit of India - people everywhere are in unfortunate situations but still thankful, hppy, and generous, focusing on the positive. I've heard really nce things about Pushkar -can't wait to hear about it. Love, Laura

Sorry you got sick, but glad you had a mother-substitute to take care of you. Now we have a common experience of being sick while traveling-it sounds like yours was worse, because i never made it to the doctor since I was travelling around Spain at the time. I'm glad you are learning some useful things like how to hand wash your laundry. I am drinking one of your good home brews and reading all your messages. I had gotten behind after I stopped worrying about you getting there. It sounds like a very interesting and exciting trip except for the heat. It has just gotten very hot here-96 degrees today. I have been keeping up with your blog and enjoy reading your adventures. when you get back to work we need to have a slideshow with all the pictures you have taken, that would make a nice lunch hour. Sounds like you're having an awesome time - I'm more than happy for you!!! The festival was a few days ago - it went allright. The first day I didn't realy know what I was doing, the second day was great, and the third day was really cold and rainy. I have to go to work now, but did the private messages I sent before work? I see it says 1 message waiting approval, but I thought I was supposed to get some confirmation after I sent them to you, and I never did? Anyway, keep on with your adventures, and relaxing, and meeting new people. LOVE, Laura

Just found your blog. Hope your trip is going well! I'm going to be back in the states from June 15th through July 29th but am going to be returning to Argentina to study through the following December. Por eso, I think we might should skip the California trip and instead try to plan some sort of Patagonia adventure in December. Hope your travels are going well! See you in July!

Hi Scott, I was glad to read your message to everyone. We were a little worried due to a bombing the day you were traveling, but am glad it did not affect your trip. I hope you have a good trip to Darjeeling on the train. i was working the last two nights-we had a fund raiser-wine tasting, art auction. It was nice, but a lot of work. I haven't seen Carolyn, but will call her today. If she doesn't want to, i guess I can cancel your netflix. Post some photos soon. The dogs and I are hanging out. Love you, Mom
