So from Fiji onto our last stop of Hawaii, touching down into Oahu we set off to our hotel in Honolulu at a scourching 90 degree farenheit! Our hotel was lovely compared with the huts we've been staying in- true luxury!! We planned on spending a relaxing time in Hawaii before our flight home, but started to get itchy feet not doing anything but lazing on crowded Waikiiki beach!! So booked in to do a few touristy things. Made a trip over to Hanauma Bay to do some snorkelling but unfortunately even though a beautiful place, the crowds set in here too. The snorkelling wasnt great as the tide was out and so we kept cutting ourselves on the coral, got to see lots of lovely fish but not the best we'd seen especially with the

The people are so friendly and helpful and we've met lots of fantastic people we've had great fun with & Sunshine!! We started off by staying on the main island of Nadi for 2 nights up in the mountains which was lovely. We then started our trip with Awesome Adventures which was a 12 day/ 11 night trip around the Yasawa Islands. The first Island the Ferry dropped us off at was called Bounty Island, it is the island where they filmed 'Love Island' a few years ago, its a tiny island like the majority of them we stayed at, only a few kilometeres long and you worry when the tide comes in at night

We started our trip in Wellington where for the first time in New Zealand we had to hunt for a room as everywhere was full. We got to take a walk around the steep streets and wooden victorian harbour before the rain set in and pushed us onto Napier. We stayed at a lovely little hostel at the little seaside town and discovered that Napier has alot of history as it was shaken to the ground in 1931 and re-emerged with Art Deco Architecture! Taupo was then our next stop where we were greeted with a bit of sunshine -Yippee! Took a walk around 'Moon Crater' a geothermal area with steam

We've had an amazing activity packed time since arriving kiwi land 2 weeks ago and hope that it will arrive through the North island. We arrived in Christchurch after our overnight flight from Perth to a cosy, funky hotel room where we monged out for a day. We then took to looking around chilly Christchurch (but not as cold as expected around 5 degrees) and found a great information center where a lovely lady planned our next 10 days, booking all our trips, the car and our accomodation. What a star! We then went to pick up our bargain car

We had a quick run over everything we needed to know e.g. where to put oil, water in e.t.c. (the engine was under the passenger seat!) It also had a kitchen in the boot. To start our adventure they had given us an empty petrol tank so we found ourselves driving around in a panic at peak rush hour time in Perth trying to find a petrol station. Once we had finally found one we set about trying to head north, easier said than done with our useless city map and one-way systems. We finally found ourselves heading north through the beach suburbs of Scarborough, stopped off for

It was great to be in a city after being cut off in a tiny town and we stuffed our faces with take-aways and went to the cinema to see 'Iron Man'. Albany is a very sweet sea side town which had recently had a shark attack where a teacher was savaged only 70 meters out from the shore!! so no-one was allowed in the water and we cruised the beach hoping for a sighting as it was said there were 3 Great Whites still lurking around in the waters. We took a scenic drive around to the blow holes, 'The bridge', and 'The Gap' which were where the waves crash

We found the perfect job for both of us in a tiny town, 3hours drive south of Perth called Pemberton, where they were looking for a couple to help them out. 40hours+ a week with accomodation and evening meals included, So we packed our bags and caught the next bus. We were given a 2 bed apartment which was ideal and set down to work which we were itching to do after 5 months travelling. We were cleaning at the motel during the day and waitressing at the restaurant during the evenings. I also

We stopped on our way at Mount Gambier's mysterious blue lake, a mile deep lake that sits on a volcano's crater and shimmers with an intense shade of blue. We spent a night at the sleepy little town of beachport before moving onto Robe where I celebrated my birthday in a lovely apartment right on the beach. I was treated to lots of lovely pressies (thanks everyone) and Lobster and Champagne for dinner - Luxury!! Our next stop was at Victor Harbour where we were greeted by massive Pelicans and took a walk over to Granite Island to try and see some Penguins but unfortunately we were out of luck!! We made the ferry crossing over

The first part of the road is called the 'surf coast' stretching from Torquay to Lorne where we watched some of the country's best surfing taking place on seemingly endless beaches. Our first 2 night stop was at the lovely Lorne where we were lucky enough to stay in a great log cabin in the middle of the eucalyptus tree forrest. we were surrounded by local wildlife including cockatoo's and Lorikeets which came to feed on our balcony and enjoyed biting Jason's finger off!! Whilst in Lorne we went off road to find a fruit farm where their was a cafe and we gorged on Pancakes, scones and fruit pie. We didnt pick any fruit, dad

We were lucky enough to spend Australia day there with lots of small parties taking place throughout the city. We ended the day watching bands perform at Federation square with a fantastic firework show. Jason got tickets for Australia vs Qatar football which we watched at the impressive Telstra Dome. It was an exciting game which Australia won 3-0, so there was plenty of partying after the game. We spent most of our time at the laid back, beach bumming st. Kilda where there was a st. Kilda Festival where the whole street was closed off and they had motorbike stunts, wakeboarding and lots of bands on different stages. We were counting down the
