ZAN Looks wonderful. Wish I could come over. Sure miss you. Your going to miss your Mom's 50th birthday, probably better you do, it won't be a fun occasion! The views are fantastic but the animals don't look Turkish, they still look American. Ha Ha. Love You, Zan
Great photos. That obelisk is actually Byzantine in origin, was probably built by Constantine VII and was once covered in bronze plates which were looted in the fourth crusade. The other was brought from Egypt by the Emperor Theodosius.
Whoo! You guys are packed into that city, aren't you? The view from your place looks like an endless sea of humanity! That subway is certainly clean, though. I'm impressed
Wow! Turkey is way prettier than I imagined! That castle is really breathtaking (not to sound like a cheesy romance author). I'm so glad you're having a good time over there. Are you going to bring home a bunny? :)
Mosque-ing The Blue Mosque is really pretty! I didn't expect such wide-open spaces in it; I guess I figured it would be like the cathedrals in Europe, all cramped and dark. Have you had any problems with people being rude or scary?
Neat! I like your zebra stripes and purple entertainment center! And I'm really glad you're all locked up tight. I hope your living arrangement works out okay, and you have a bed and everything. That would be nice during a several-month stay. :) Hey, have you heard from the girl who wanted to sublease your room here in Auburn?

What did you feel about the mosques? Did you find the atmosphere different than in Christian churches?
