EARTHQUAKE Well.. Where do I start?? What a crazy experience. First - I'm ok, and yes I'm out now of Chengdu. Thanks to all who checked in on me! The longest train ride ever.. Holy doley. I have got no idea what possessed me to catch on a train for 31 hours! It was the longest train ride ever! But before we get to that I'll bring you up to speed. Tiananmen Last Thu I was able to get into Tiananmen Square and get some snapshots. Ni Hao! So far so good... Everything seems to be travelling along nicely so far. Arrived in Beijing last Friday night and managed to get to my hotel without any dramas. (Highly recommend travelling business class to anyone who has the chance - you get real Salmon and single malt whiskey, and so many movies to watch that I wanted the flight to keep going.) The new Beijing airport is out of control.
