Ok. Well now im in Danli Honduras working as a voluntary physio. the last 2 weeks have been mad entering El Salvador and Honduras has introduced me to another level of weirdness. El Salvador what can i say, was there 6 days, never seen anything like it. Ok so continuing. I went to monterrico the highlight of which was the chance to play beach volleyball for the first time on my trip. I ended up partnering this local guy and i have to say we kicked some arse so much so that when i went out a night i got kept getting bought beer and the next day they asked me to play in thier team which was good fun. Well i havent wrote anything for a long time have been really busy. Constantly on the move. I left Mexico 2 weeks ago to head to Guatemala. First stop was Panajachel, its famous for it lake and volcanoe but to be honest it was the most overrated place ive ever been to. Basically to me the lake district is better and it doesnt have people constantly trying to push drugs. Honestly i never been anywhere like it full of hippies and druggies. Well, ive been here a while and i have to say this place is the most amazing place ive ever been. Its weird you arrive at the bus station and there is a sign in English (very unusual) warning you not to talk to strangers! Hi Im struggling to remember what i have done since i was last on here, yes i ve done alot. Went to Merida for Carnival, wow that place was hot. The carnival was different to i expected very commerical. It basically went something like this. Girls and men, well mainly women to be honest, mount float, not literally that is and then parade down small street near my hostel. Well i ended up spending 6 days in tulum much longer than i expected but it was a good place to chill out. One day a few of us got a lift of this american couple, pam and steve! to a cenote, its like a lake and we borrowed some snorkeling gear. Then they took us back to the beach where i saw the turtles so we went there again. Very kind of them may have to revise my thoughts on the old USA.
