now we were really adventuring. we had left behing the comfort of our brittish friends, and we'd said goodbye to the english language, we were off to gemany! the start was not exactly fantastic. we sent email to our german frined explaining theat we would be there in three days, and could he hang out with us?and before we could hear back from him, hopped the cheapest flight we could find to berlin. it turned out to be quite cheap, 20 Pounds, but it had everything that went with a cheap airline, minimal service, cramped seats, and a two hour delay. For those who know, and for those of you who may not, i have left my native soil of new england for the summer. After much saving, fantisizing, researching and a small amount of planning, i have set off on backpacking tour of Europe with my friend Caleb.
