I am 19 and have been traveling around south america since september. I might be going to school next year but I am still not sure. Im from san Francisco, CA, but will probably be going to school in Boulder Colorado.

If there is anyone interested in working in a beautiful indigenous mountain community in the Cordillera Blanca, Peru please contact me via this blog or my email, Patrickw26@comcast.net. The help is anywhere from teaching, building with the community, or working in the fields. The schools are in desperate need of teachers or teacher helpers. You will live with a local family, whom will be happy to provide you with food and a bed and it is all free! Hey Im on my way up to colombia and thinking about continuing through to panama and then all the way back home to the states. Does anyone have any information on cheap cargo routes to Panama? I also want to try an hitchhike all the way up to California, but only have a month or so to do it? Any advice or information on either of these things would be great. thanks, patrick... read more
