| 20th September 2008 chinaprofile | so good - From: Bavarian China I have read several pieces about travel in Qingdao, and I find this is really the best one, as you really taste local culture, such as kebab and beer. however the downside is you may not climib the Lao mountain and beer street neighbouring Taidong commercial area, which is the favourite middle-class commericial area by local residents. I copy this piece and paste to my blog. I am looking forward to reading more about your tour in China. |
| 10th September 2008 ted_strejcek@yahoo.com | Da Bears - From: Island Hoping, Thai style Chicago Bears Update: Da Bearsss opened up the season by giving a serious beat down to Peyton Manning's Indianapolis Colts. After showing up their 500 million new stadium, the Colts proceeded to get spanked by Bears Defense and starting quarterback Kyle Orton. Final score Bearsss 29 Colts 13. Next week Bearsss v. Carolina. Oddsmakers put the outcome as a tie. Bearsss are going all the way baby, WHOOOO! |

| 30th August 2008 H U N T E R | what a trip! - From: Luzon and Boracay well, im very happy you had a wonderful stay in the philies... i just want to comment a lil bit about that "Pearl of the Orient" thingy... i guess those 4 asian cities you've known about using that moniker could have been too envious about naming their places of such close association with the philippines for it sounded just amazingly beautiful for tourism advertisements, but i should tell you this that even though how many countries will use the title, world history will still identify the name to the philippines. For the philippines, "the pearl of the orient seas" is beyond natural beauty, but its HISTORY which other 4 asian places you said doesn't have... it's even included in the philippine national anthem translated into filipino as: "perlas ng silanganan..." also, about vesiah islands...there's no such thing as vesiah islands, it's visayas islands, a group of islands sliced between luzon and mindanao and these places speak the visayan language of which there are 3 major languages spoken: cebuano, waray and hiligaynon and other varying degrees of similar languages. thanks |
