So...following the 2hour tuk-tuk ride from hell we have the 12 hour bus ride from hell :-) Checked out of the hostel and headed into bangkok to kill the day waiting for the 5pm bus. Didn't do much, just strolled around etc... Now to the bus, not bad itself. It had some "air-con"... a very weak version though. The toilet was shocking! Even i had to duck to try and use it. Quick onee...3 of us decided to get a tuk-tuk back to our hostel from central bangkok. Now this takes an hour in good traffic, and costs quite a bit. So for 250bhat we got this tuk-tuk... ...it took 2hours sat in bangkok traffic breathing in god knows what. Well, i won't go into too many details about the flight as not much happened. 11hours sat on my arse doing very little was very similar to a working day. Getting to the hostel after the flight was fun thought. It's fookin miles away. So much so that my one-eyeed taxi driver couldn't even find it. Probably not helped by the fact that he only had one eye. But i finally got there and checked in. Four-bed dorm all to myself :-) Next day got up, and headed to the zoo. So, this is it. The last few hours of UK-land. Everything is now packed (probably way too much!). Off to London in a couple of hours for some proper food before the plane ride, and two months of rice and noodles...that's not such a bad thing though. Least it means no more roasts. Off to the airport after that, due to fly out to Bangkok at 10.15pm, and arrive around 3.15pm.
