Beth sent on the blog bit. We're enjoying it particularly the Syrian part. This is a trip we missed coupled with Jordan two years ago. You are fortunate to have family show you the real deal. Gail

good to have heard from you... - From: The road to Aleppo (sweating our asses off in Syria) **New pics added**
Pat & Erin... Was good to hear that you had made it S&S. What a pity tho' that the scenery was not at all up to expectations since that whole area is such a beautiful part of the MED! Looking forward to further news of your travels as and when possible. best regards!!!

"onward hooo" and a safe journey! - From: Biking along the Bosphorus
Erin and Pat, After having bid farewell to the both of you on your way across the Sea of Marmara to Bandirma I reverted to the "solo" ride back home...with pleasant memories of 2 of Saskatoon's finest! Rest assured in the knowledge that you have both tagged a friend for life. I sincerely hope that the short time we were able to spend riding the krazee roads around here together and whatever I was able to show you of this country - perhaps the meals as well (or the beet juice?) - will be remembered! I know I will cherish the memories of these few days gladly spent away from a busy and sometimes stressful schedule...it was a very welcome opportunity to do so!!! We all were extremely happy to have you both share a few quality moments with "the family" in Istanbul; I know the boys regret not having peppered you with more questions about the Erin & Pat I got to know ... thus, it was left to me to present them with your biography's as well as I could. They were both impressed by what the "networking of a love of motorcycles" can accomplish, they were also amazed at the fraternity involved behind it all. I believe this is a fact that will remain with them for a while until they further develop their own fraternal bonds. Finally, let me just add that you will both be greatly missed by this 'Turk'... That said, I am confident that you will enjoy the remainder of your journey across Asia Minor and along the Aegean coast... and perhaps we'll catch up along the way some time in the nearest future for a re-cap! God bless, God speed, ride safe and take care! Ali Haydar
