FREEDOM! - From: In Esteli, Granada
Don't join the Sandanistas!! But DO get me some flags! ;) I thought about you today 'cause I got a pedicure (it's $10 more expensive here in MS than NM. ROTTEN BASTARDS.) and I wished you were here. Glad you're getting out and around, but PERSONAL SAFETY! ;) Love!!

kitties! - From: I am sunburned
OK, besides the awful picture of lunch ;) the picture of you with the kitties is, like, the best picture EVER TAKEN. I also heart the tree stump picture. I'm loving reading about the adventures! But PLEASE TO BE USING SUNSCREEN! Loves! :)

I've been waiting for the perfect entry to comment on. And here it is! Jennifer with kitties! You're making me so jealous. I'm officially saying, screw graduate school. Let's hear it for Peace Corps!

What kind of trip ? - From: Things I love (and hate) about Copan
OK, here's what's been burning my lips lately. I'm soon about to travel around central america. And so, I fervently read every new blog entry on the subject. Still, I haven't been able to found any kind of 'backpacking' blog recently, nothing that I could read and identify my trip to come with. Anyway, my question is this: what kind of trip are you doing? How do you guys get adopted by these local families all the time ? I'm just trying to grasp the nature of your trip. Please enlighten me, a fellow traveler, Tcharly

Dead Armadillos - From: Virginia
Yeah, I couldn't keep track. It was crazy. Texas was the usual bore--however, I am always mesmerized by the "Largest Cross in the Western Hemisphere."

Albuquerque - From: Fairfax, VA
I love Albuquerque. It is very laid back. Much different from the east coast. New Mexico is very diverse--not only in the mixup of different peoples, but the landscape is amazing.
