July 20. Burgees to two boats. Went to Show to see John Short ride owner who'd gotten large flags in Townsville. He got 20 burgee size and a large. July 3. Watching 'Sunrise', weather being broadcast from Herveys Range west of Townsville. Thought I could make ambush. Finally found myself on road through savannah heading to back of beyond. June 29. Townsville, get comfortable. June 30. Racing. Around islands, rocks and marks. Magnetic I, Bay Rock, Cordelia Rocks, Herald I, Rattlesnake I, Yabulu, Middle Reef. Clear day.
