Hi I'm Harold from the Philippines. I want to help promote eco-tourism in the Philippines and thats the main reason why im writing this blog. South East Asia has pretty much the same landscape. Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, all look the same. What makes Philippines different is that we're a lot friendlier. It's easy to interact with people if you want to get to know the Filipino culture because we are very curious about people from other countries and we're bold enough to approach anyone. It's very easy to get around the Philippines because we all speak English.

Emie and I decided to visit the Tinipak River in Rizal province. We didnt really know how to go there. We just asked for directions along the way. It's not that we like it that way. Zambales is a province two hours north of Manila. My family likes to spend time there when we get bored during the weekend. The photos here were taken about six months ago. The ones where I had hair was taken a year ago. This is Baloy long beach just outside Angeles city. This is not the right place for you if you're looking for a wholesome time. Short hiking trip in Bulacan Asia » Philippines » Bulacan

My friends and I decided to go to Licao-Licao in Bulacan last weekend. This is our second trip there. We discovered the place last year. It was a short hiking trip that ended in a quaint waterfalls. Its not too far from the city. Maybe just an hour away from Tungko but it looks pretty remote. Very very few people, saw four houses in the entire village and they dont have electricity. I spent holy week in Palawan with my family for our bienial family reunion.
