Wah, get this really awkward feeling just looking at the church picture. When I get married Im definitely not going to associate it with Christianity in any way. Best was absolutely the part about your future wedding, so childish (Haha, and I mean that in every good sense of the word, you know what I mean :) ) And send me a mail about the Nosha-business. I had no idea!

I don't really get your "If I go back, it wouldn't be the same"-thinking. Sure, all the people and places would have changed. But I am sure that you would have just as lovely a time there. When I go next fall to Tokyo and I wont know a soul there. But I will definitely have even more fun there than I had my last time in Japan. Why? Since Japan is such a wonderful country. Japanese are lovely and so are many Japanese-students.

Hey cuz! I have loved reading your blog. It lets me keep up with you even though your so far away. I was wondering what the name of the bakery in Apex is because I just met a girl this past weekend who works at a cake place in Apex and was wondering if its the same place! Hope all is well!

It's actually the other place I mentioned! It's in Apex, and they specialize in wedding cakes and tiered/fondant cakes. I have to apply in person is the only thing, so I'm hoping they can hold the position until this temp job ends.. But I'm so excited!

Nooo, don't eat my walrus! :( Haha. Orcas are cute too, though. I don't know, I just love all animals xD And I hope that the dream means something.. but who knows. It's good to look at it down to earth and not down to earth I think. David told me that there were a lot of butterflies in Sweden, though, so maybe that has something to do with it? :P And thank you, aniki! I trust that things will do the same for you too!

My favourite animal is the orca. So my animal eats yours. Hah! And with the blue butterfly... there just as many as there always is but since you had that dream you looked for them now. That is my boring and down-to-earth-answer :( But nice to hear the good stuff and that you are feeling better!

I think it will probably stay this color for a while. xD I'm going to have Iris help me color it prior to going to Sweden. And really, I really encourage you to live abroad. Because I know you'll find out what it means to live, what it means to grow and shape into the beautiful person I know you are, April. I love you so much.. And God, I miss you so much. I know you are wonderful, and I really want you to be able to see that yourself as well. You are always in my heart, my thoughts, and are one of my best friends.

I still say you're hair is gonna fall out. Stop changing it so much! XD Reading your blog makes me want to cry. It makes me sad to see Nosha sad. It sounds like you learned so much/had so much fun in Japan. I can't really blame you for not wanting to leave. I envy you because I still have a lot of inner demons to battle before I think I can truly live. But I'll make it someday...one day at a time. ^_^

Beautiful and thoughtful entry. As of right now, I'd give anything to relive those days. I wished somebody actually had told me about this post-exchange depressed feeling. You entry accurately describes my thoughts, and I really think it speaks out for a lot of the KG exchange students who made such close connections to such wonderful people around the world.

you definitely shouldn't apologize for this entry. you've voiced a lot of things that have been all over my mind lately. it's horrible - just when i felt i was finally adjusting to home, today hits and it's been nothing but sloth and heartache. it's so hard to find solace when everyone from KG has their own lives to deal with, and family and friends at home don't fully understand, or they would take offense at the implication that my experience in japan was so much better than time now with them. not to mention how spread out we are... you were lucky to be able to meet up with cory so soon - physical presence is just so, so important (maybe not necessary, but oh god the comfort). anyway, i guess it's my turn to apologize for this comment. i just needed to feel less alone today. take care, miss ashley. i'm excited for you to have a new adventure already lined up. :)
