Hello all! I am now in the Netherlands in Groningen with my Dutchies!! It has been great so far! The trains were very delayed coming from Eindhoven to Groningen so that was a bit frustrating, but having mark and siward there to greet me in Eindhoven airport!! We met up with almost all the girls..minus Eveline and had a beer/milk haha! I am staying at Gurdie's house right now (its awesome and in city center) and we woke up early to meet everyone for coffee and then we climbed the Martini tower (the only toursit attraction in the city haha). Hello everyone! I am in Dublin and have been since last night! The weather is the usual, cold, rainy, and now even WINDY..50mph windy! But.. I have managed to take the hop on and off bus tour of dublin and seen St. Patrick's Cathedral, Guiness Storehouse (brewery), and Temple Bar (famous market, shops, etc). Well, the weather here is still typical cold and rainy, but I have managed to have a great time! Last night I went into Motherwell to a bar with my cousin and all her friends called MegaBar. It was really good fun and I even met some guys whose dads were friends with my stepdad when he was my age! That is crazy! Okay, so after 3 days of crazy planning I finally have a definate plan. I bought all flights, buses, and train tickets today and even hotel rooms! So..drum roll please...here is the plan: I will stay in Glasgow with family until the 21st of january, then I fly to Dublin, Ireland and stay with my cousin and stepdad who is working over there until the 25th, then I fly to the Netherlands into Eindhoven and Amsterdam to see my dutchies(!!) until the 31st, then I fly into London to take the bus to see my dear friend Corrine in Nottingham England [View Full Entry]

In Scotland now! Its not such great weather but I am safe and with my auntie! I rode busses and tubes and trains ALL DAY. 11am till 9pm but it was worth it! I came to Motherwell (outside Glasgow Scotland) to find a warm cup of homemade vegetable soup and some veggie lasagna! I stayed up chatting with two of my aunts and my cousin over some wine. Well, since yesterday things have gone better. Today I decided to stay indoors and make some plans for the next month. So, I am still trying to get my train ticket booked online to Motherwell, Scotland (to see my aunt outside Glasgow) for a week or so. My stepdad is going to meet me there too I think for a few days, so it should be good fun! Then, I plan to take yet another train to see Corrine in Nottingham England! I am very excited. So, I am relieved to be back at Christians house after a very long day. To sum my day up: freezing rain as walked out of house and door locked behind me, caught bus that proceeded to WRECK (how does that even happen), tube broken, lost in dark in rain, and told off by a bus driver for no reason, missed stop to house, walked 2 miles in dark cold rain. Yes mom, I am alive. Today we did more sightseeing than the whole week combined: London Eye, Parliament, Big Ben, Westminister Abbey, London Bridge, Tower Bridge, Harrods, cool Italian Cafe', and a new hotel that is super spiffy!! I am going to post pictures later tonight when we get back in from dinner and shopping around in Covent Gardens!! I am going to a small village outside London tomorrow after Nick leaves called Maxwell Hill to stay with my friend Christian. Hello all!! Well the last two days have been eventful. We went and saw a show: pete and the pirates/a LOT of DJs. It was FANTASTIC!!! Needless to say we recovered for almost a full day afterward but enjoyed Hyde Park, some great Indian Food and found an awesome french restaurant as well! Yesterday we woke up extremely late.. as in 7pm ha and tried to find a movie theater (cinema..) found 3 but all had already started the films so we just walked around Liechester Square which was crazy with some sort of fair going on.
