Currently, I will be teaching english for 6 weeks this summer in China then travling in the region afterwards. I am trying to get as much teaching and traveling advice, tips, etc. for planning as much as I can ahead of time :) Lesson plans for teaching conversational english to grade school students. I want to know what surrounding countries are best to visit for a first time traveler to that region. We are planning on visiting Vietnam and Thailand after China.

Hello ALL!! It has been a long time since I have been able to add an entry. Its been alot harder than I thought it would be to update because, 1. I dont have the internet at the apartment 2. there are no internet cafes here 3. the internet at school is soo slow! Also, there is nowhere to put my disk for my pics, so I am using alot of Jessica's pics for this entry. Let‘s move on... Here in China So， I am here in China. Hunan Province
As most of you know or don't know, I will be leaving July 5th for about 3 months! I'm off to China w/ Jexa for 6 weeks in which we will both be volunteering to teach english at a middle school. We will be in Changde, in the Hunan province. Its going to be an interesting experience and its not going to be easy. One, its going to be hot as all hell here! Imagine living in sweat for 6 weeks straight - that will be us!! Two, every kid will be on a different english level and we have to run a class that will incorpoate everyone. This is my first travel blog ever! I havent exactly started my travels yet, I dont leave until July 4th and will be teaching English in China for 6 weeks. I'm nervous and excited at the same time. I will be traveling and teaching with one of my best friends Jessica which calms my nerves a little bit too .
