Hi! I am Mr. Gart!
I am a 49 year old Dutchman, who lives in Iquitos. In 2006, I came here as an English teacher. I planned to stay for a year and then move on. But; I am still here! I now teach English privately, as well as parttime at the University.

Ricardo turned out to be a reliable, knowledgeable guide, who spoke excellent English. He took care of the organization of my excursion, including a boat with a crew of three, food and beverages, transportation to Nauta and all the equipment and supplies we needed. His advice regarding adequate preparation was very helpful. I really had no idea what to expect and soon found out that the virgin rainforest is not a
