| 13th June 2008 skaboii | Islas Malvinas / Fakland - From: Day 139 - Attacking penguins There is no typographical error, the Malvinas/Falkland Islands are a territory still unresolved within the right placement and resolution of the united nations. From 1810 to 1833 Argentina manage the islands without any international claim until the United Kingdom invaded the islands in 1833 and claimed by Argentina since then. |

| 9th June 2007 Amy Mendel (from Southern Africa) | I LOVE SEASONS PIZZA!!! - From: Day 339 - The animal that befuddles taxonomists Hey guys, I've been following your blog since I returned home in February anxiously awaiting the Bhutan portion! I hope you enjoyed the Seasons pizza and the apple pie or other tempting desserts. Hope you are having a wonderful last month and enjoying every minute. When I first returned home the transition was definitely tough, but finally after adjusting, I'm excited to be heading to Israel and Jordan at the end of the month for a two week stint (like normal people!). A friend who returned from a year of traveling in April, decided one year wasn't enough and just left for another year of exploration. Anyways hope your transition home is seamless. Enjoy your last few weeks and thanks for sharing all your stories and pictures! Always, Amy (the demi-canadian, demi-american from Boston) |

| 3rd December 2006 mrandmrssimmonds | Response - From: Day 127 - The journey ever southwards carries on Hi, We throughly enjoyed the boat trip, the scenery is great, especially if you are lucky enough to have good weather. We have also travelled a lot of the way by bus and are also travelling up Argentina, and the landscape would be pretty similar if we had driven this stretch the boat covers so we do not feel we missed out on any of the scenery. It is worth the price, food is good and you are kept well informed etc. |
| 25th November 2006 Goody | - From: Day 127 - The journey ever southwards carries on How was the scenery on the boat trip, was it worth the price, and did you feel you might have missed some scenery by going via water and not by land? |

| 19th October 2006 Ivan | Bad!! - From: Day 92 - 24 hours too long in Cali "we didn't fancy spending much time in this semi-lawless state." Shame you guys didn't spend time in Colombia. You let stereotypes keep you from one of the most fascinating and safe countries in south america. Your loss. Take a look at other people's entries about the country. Next time do some research and do not let media and fear get in your way. Have fun in the rest of your trip!! |

| 21st August 2006 Katia | What Valley ? - From: Day 40 - Making the most of the Jeep A quiet afternoon in an otherwise madly busy season has enabled me to catch up with your first 40 days! Suddenly felt I should ask Gren about the existence of a travel blog, and bingo ! well, what can I say, simply wonderful stuff, you lucky things - I shall be connecting everyday from now, beats the B&B routine anytime. | 16th August 2006 'Big' Matt | Pikes Market - From: Day 35 - Athletics vs Mariners Inetresting one for you now.. Clive Woodwood (and my last company) both employed a management philosophy called FISH after the fish market there where they throw the fish about. Did you see it? It was a load of rubbish but it did mean I could wear jeans at work for 2 years, and a rogue rubber, thrown across the office almost cost someone their eye. Happy Days. I'm going to Seattle too. Maybe put in a good word with Anders for me! M |
| 16th August 2006 and again. | Directions Please - From: Day 32 - Orca whale... tick sounds good, but I'll be the judge of that |

| 7th August 2006 Matt | - From: Day 27 - back to Anchorage I'm with Ed |
| 2nd August 2006 Katy | You're right, roundabouts completely fox Americans! - From: Days 28 and 29 - Roundabouts That was a pretty funny entry for me to read. Being American, I can attest to the confusion brought on by roundabouts. I must admit I was a little timid driving around one my first time. My town in Missouri got its first roundabout only 4 years ago. It caused mass chaos (and a few accidents) for a good while after its construction. There were even regular announcements over the local radio station telling people how to maneuver the roundabout - and it was only one lane! |
| 2nd August 2006 Barbara | Roundabout lessons - From: Days 28 and 29 - Roundabouts 'Do not stop in roundabout is pretty good too! |
| 31st July 2006 Amanda | - From: Day 27 - back to Anchorage hey globetrotters...i've just tuned in after missing almost two weeks worth of blogs - great reads on a Monday! your adventures read well and it certainly seems you're off to a great start. either your trip isn't mapped out going forward or i am inept at figuring out how to view it. i'm curious about your plans over the next few weeks - as you know, i quite enjoy Vegas and might consider hopping a plane. i'll stay closely tuned in to your blogs. Keep safe! |
| 23rd July 2006 Gren | Congratulations - married one month tomorrow! - From: Day 12 - our second day starting and ending in the same place Looking forward to the update on Denali, otherwise there is a BBC tv series this week on bears so we may have to make do with that. Collected even more wedding photographs yesterday from Robert Lawler who hopes to have the best 200 on a web site shortly. Many many fantastic pictures of everyone. |
| 17th July 2006 jess | wow! - From: Day 12 - our second day starting and ending in the same place Dear Ed and Gemma, Have just been catching up with your travels - everything sounds amazing!!! You made me feel really nostalgic about Toronto - must get ourselves back there. I especially like all your exotic animal sightings - wolves, bears and whales all sound very cool! So glad your having the time of your lives. Keep the info coming. Lots of love, Jess P.S. Sounds like you were drinking alot of Molsen in Canada which is totally correct but what about Alaska? Whats the beer? |

| 16th July 2006 Barbara Simmonds | Nothing like a good yarn............... - From: Day 12 - our second day starting and ending in the same place Just saw you haven't had any comments yet, so here's a comment! Do keep telling us about the stories people tell you. Many have a huge fund of knowledge and experience about the local area, (or are just good at telling a good story!). Can't wait to hear more............! |
| 11th July 2006 Carrie | Great coverage - From: Day 6 - onwards to our destination Love reading it - though only a week into your trip it seems like your covered some distance. So disappointed you haven't run into any bears yet. I blame the bananas, more likely to attract monkeys. |
| 10th July 2006 Dave | Hello - From: Day 6 - onwards to our destination Only six days in and you've already covered quite a few miles; You'll have to slow down a bit if you're keen to drag it out for a whole year ;-) Anyway, just wanted to post a quick hello and wish you well on your travels. All the best, Dave xx PS: Not sure if you've heard, but Marie was suffering after your leaving party (makes a nice change for me to be carrying her home I'm sure you'll agree). It was a cool send off which everyone enjoyed. especially Ed's dancing skills ;-) |
