Sweet! Hey you two,
I look forward to your posts. Those little fuckers with the ropes should be dragged by your bikes over the pot holes for a few miles! I am glad neither of you were hurt. Good job Nathan!

from Ecuador Hi Nathan, you don´t know me, however, we have someone in common. I was a foreing exchange student back in 76 at your grandfather´s home. Dad Thomas, as I call him, have been keeping in touch once in a while through email. I adore him, because he and mom Thomas meant a lot to me in my life. He have me your address and I though I would check out your blog. It is amazing and I think it would be a shame if you did not come down to Ecuador, "just a little bit south from where you are now" (below Colombia). My husband and I and my whole family would love to have you and your wife as guests. We will show you around and make sure you have a great time. Check out any website of this amazing country ECUADOR. We are also bike riders. We just bought a Kawasaki 650, brand new one and will be taking some trips soon. Hope we can keep in touch and maybe meet. And please let me know who your parents are. I remember my brothers and my sister Nancy. Hope to hear from you soon and take care. It seems you are having a blast!!!

Adventures Hi Guys. What an amazing adventure you are on. So many stories and memories being made... I love reading these posts. It briefly takes me on the road with you for a few moments. Beautiful pictures. You intrepid spirits! Good vibes sent your way:) xo April
yeah! summer Hey guys, Just wanted to say hello. I was almost starting to get worried, would have waited a little longer to start the search threw south american jails. Sounds like a trip of a life time, I cant believe you still have money. Well, its finally getting warm hear, heading up to the Jauns this weekend, it cant compete with tikal though. Stay safe and keep me updated of a possible pit stop when you decided on one. Love ya, Sarah.
Quite a trip... Hi Lindsie and Nathan,
Thanks for the update... it must be a chore to carve out the time to post the latest - so I appreciate the effort. Your descriptions of Tikal make my memories of that place come back - I want to hear a howler monkey again ! Did they pave the road yet from San Ignacio to Tikal ? If not, it must have been quite the time traversing it 2 to a bike !!!
Stay safe and put up the latest as you head south!

what comes around, goes around! Hey you guys! Looks like you have families all over! and you still have one in San Diego too! What a trip you've had. Not too bad a fall for your first one Lindasy, but I know for a fact, they're ALL scary! Mike say's be safe and keep the rubber side down! :)
Call with any questions! Deb and Mike
a cool spot sorry to hear about your bouts...I know that feeling all to well....think it comes with traveling, anyways if your stuck in Puerto vallarta for a bit I just read about a cool spot close to there.....it is called YELAPA if you go down to the water launchas and ask they will know where...not sure how much it costs but it is suppose to be a 45 min boat ride and cool spot to hang out a secluded village.....although it has some tourism it is suppose to be more chill that puerto...there is a cool waterfall you can hike to also ....might be worth it.....so we have a friend flying in around the 18th of june and then we will head to the islands around the 21 st or something like that....once you get closer let us know just how you want work our plans...cheers and happy travels wish I was with you...not sure why I came all the way here just to start working...I should be out playing and traveling....I might have to run away with you guys! nat
Too much stuff My opinion....You got too much stuff! I traveled for 4 months with everything I needed in a backpack. Well...all but pepto apparently. I don't know what you got, but from what I see take what you think you need and lose about half of it. I wish I could have blogged from the road, this is great. Best of luck guys!
que rico All right I am gonna have to start talking my broken spanish to you so you get some daily lessons! Let me know if ya have any questions ever. Love reading your blog it brought back my memories of baja and the crazy 2 lane road with pot holes everywhere and MULEGE was were I stayed when I went down and the sea of cortes was the first place I sailed! Way to go guys you sure are making good time and memories. Tim and I will have to get bikes now to come home....unless you want us to ride them back for you....wink wink...look forward to seeing you soon, hasta pronto, Nato
