Today was very exciting. In the morning we went out in to the countryside to see Stonehenge. It was truly breathtaking. Quite amazing how the stones are all positioned so perfectly according to not only the seasons but the months of the year too. After that we headed up to Salisbury to see the Cathedral. Something I've wanted to do since i was quite young thanks to one of my Grandmother's dinner coasters. The building is absolutely massive, and the Spire is something to behold! Well, after a 24 plane flight from Auckland to London with a brief stop-over in Bangkok, I was relieved when we finally made it to our Accommodation in Southampton. We are staying with relatives of Tamsin in a place called Romsey. So far we have seen Portsmouth Historic Dockyards, The Spinnaker Tower, Winchester Abbey, King Arthurs Round Table, the Titanic Museum and the Southampton Aviation Museum. The temperature is pretty cold but not as bad as the thermometer makes it out to be. Although it has been snowing up in Edinburgh which I am not looking forward to.
