Hey the previous comment was from me! (how did I end up as anonymous?) Besides - I've just noticed the dates on the blogs - looks like a 3 week delay in arriving??? I heard things take long to reach us from the Far East - but this is ridiculous!! ;-)) B x

All that information about the Mayans is fascinating, especially as we´ll be visiting Palenque today. I knew about the 2 calendars before but not about the 260 day one being related to length of pregnancy!

Hey Mon, Wow it looks like you are having a fantastic time in Mexico. I am soo soo jealous! Your pictures are amazing. you have a really good eye. I still have one of your pics from the top of Mt. Blanc as my desktop. You are so lucky that you get to travel around so much... I think I am going to have to do more of it because I just love traveling... There is talk of Ben and I going on a 6 month bike tour around Asia which would be awesome. You were born to travel weren't you! ;o) Take care, Danx

Maybe I should have tried Canada then ;o) I know, the world is full of contradictory rules & regulations. I was slightly annoyed with myself that I didn´t think of this whole transit stuff but oh well, next time I´ll get it and I might even be able to see you guys!

nothing more awful than getting to the airport for the start of your holidays, and having to trudge back coz of a little nitch! but glad u are there now and enjoying the amazing views of the sea - i've never seen such blue water.... great pics babe! enjoy enjoy enjoy....... Babs xxxx

i just kept reading...
hey just wanted to say i stop to read your trip to Bokeo Province, in Lao, because I'm planning to strike up the courage to getting attacked by leeches!!, And I simply just kept reading the whole of your blog entrys!! Was quiet entertaining, so cheers!! :-)

Sorry to hear about the rain - to be honest, today hasn't been much different over here although that was more of a relief than a nuissance ;o) Good luck with your Italian and the new job of course!xxx

Yeah, we finally gave in and tried giving them money but they didn't want it!!! I think they simply enjoyed giving foreigners a hard time. Plus, knowing their love for Americans, the girl from the States got the worst treatment. Go communism, hey?
