C'mon lassie, after more than 500 days, waste the money on a few drinks with yer mates first!! Great effort to stick it out that long, and most of it without a working camera as well ! Enjoy the odyssey home ! Rene

OMG Thailand looks amaaaaaaazing!! - From: Thailand so far
What's the huge buddha made of? Thailand is sooo colourful, am jealous once again. You'll come back and I will be a dark shade of bottle green. I was pastel green before these photies, I am now the shade of lush, verdant grass.

Like WOW - From: Cream crackers and Cachoeiras - Brazilian obsessions
I so want to go to Brazil!!!! Sunny Nitshill is actually, well, sunny. We cross dustlands every day in our trek to work (swamps in winter), have a waterfall in the office (ok, it gets a bit damp when it rains), and have our very own shop selling at least four varieties of crackers (plus chocolate cups, of which I'm partial). Swap?!!

Hi Mo - From: carnaval, pantanal, everything!
Just got out of bed as our side gate was making a racket in the wind. Checked my e mail later and have just enjoyed a whistle stop tour of your travels. Wow! Think I'll need to stay up as I'll probably have nightmares about anaconda if I go back to bed! Seriously though, it's great that you are keepting a record of your travels. I've read a few of your travel blogs so far and really enjoy them. Look after yourself - don't get too close to the wildlife. Mind you if you could survive Nitshill . . . best wishes John xx

Bogota and cow's boobs - From: Colombia - land of Irn Bru
Hi Morag Hope you're managing to maintain vegetarianismo - sounds all too easy at the moment, given the alternatives. Fruit salad with cheese is lovely but we've found that cheese soup is not going to make it onto Jamie Oliver's menus any time soon. I'm hoping you'll make it down to Salango in Ecuador or go whale watching off Isla de la Plata. If you get to the Delfin Magico restaurant in Salango you MUST tell them you know me there - and ask for their calamares. Also - in Quito - Jean Brown at Safari. Keep these blogs coming!xxx
