I'd sell my mother-in-law for a chance to go Istanbul - maybe even consider throwing in the wife . . . but seriously why don't you just change destination to berlin!?! (have i just given myself away . . .) anyway - we have loved your blog and although it's sad it's over we are looking forward to catching up with you very soon!

OMG Thailand looks amaaaaaaazing!!
What's the huge buddha made of? Thailand is sooo colourful, am jealous once again. You'll come back and I will be a dark shade of bottle green. I was pastel green before these photies, I am now the shade of lush, verdant grass.

Eve has had her 1st birthday, so I'm planning on taking her travelling overseas this summer - well Lamlash actually - but a girls got to start somewhere.... I so want to go to Brazil!!!! Sunny Nitshill is actually, well, sunny. We cross dustlands every day in our trek to work (swamps in winter), have a waterfall in the office (ok, it gets a bit damp when it rains), and have our very own shop selling at least four varieties of crackers (plus chocolate cups, of which I'm partial). Swap?!!

Just got out of bed as our side gate was making a racket in the wind. Checked my e mail later and have just enjoyed a whistle stop tour of your travels. Wow! Think I'll need to stay up as I'll probably have nightmares about anaconda if I go back to bed! Seriously though, it's great that you are keepting a record of your travels. I've read a few of your travel blogs so far and really enjoy them. Look after yourself - don't get too close to the wildlife. Mind you if you could survive Nitshill . . . best wishes John xx
