Hi, we are back The train ride was great & very quick. (High speed express), the B& B was perfect. Good call, Rick Steves Now the fun began. We were helped in finding a wheel chair for Suzanne. It was a great way to go We headed into town for a quick lunch, and some sight seeing. Lunch was good but it started to rain a bit. Within 2 hours we were in the middle of York, captive in a bank , in the biggest downpour & lightening storm we could of ever imagined. Back to the B& B and Totally drenched, we started over, and did manage a few pictures and some pub food before calling it a night. After a lovely British breakfast of ham, scrambled egg, bean, tomatoes, and toast, the guys muscled our luggage down 5 flights of narrow stairs. We found a cab (Our first taxi in London, weeeeeeeeeee ) , and made our way to our train station. At least we saw a bit of London before leaving. Once again at the train station, we were ushered to the head of the line, and put on a train to York within 15 minutes. Im starting to believe crutches are necessary travel equipment. Friends and Loved ones. If all goes well, sometime mid September we will embark on our adventure to Great Britian & Ireland, with a little stop-over in South Africa.
