THE KISS The Kiss...many variations to this theme...but wow...you couldn't have had a more exotic backdrop...definitely one for the family album!
Nice to hear Egypt is still accessible...maybe with fewer tourists...might be the best time for a visit!
Great photos!! Love your pics! Been to Egypt twice. My tour group was small (just 5 of us). Egypt was definately something to marvel at :) Your pyramid under hand while on a camel is HILARIOUS!! Happy travels!
I miss Madrid already! Hey, these photos reminded me of my 10 week trip to Spain where I was based in Madrid mostly. It's nice to be reminded every so often. I love the Retiro Park and the free museums too. I have also tried Botin but didn't order the pricey set menu. We had a cochinillo and cordero shared among 4 of us and saved a lot. :))
Calicum Hey mate good to see that you have a good time in the middle east. You and makela seem to partying a lot and dancing till the wee hours. When did this happen? We are off to columbia tomorrow for the south america part. The next 1200-1600k's through the columbian andes are going to tough. Marnee is not most thrilled about it. Well keep up the fun will see and talk in australia. david
Lisboa adventure Your adventure sounds fantastic. We have visited Portugal three times. Its a great country to explore. We like experiencing the culture too. Visiting a Fado dinner club to experience the native foods signing and dancing is always fun. Also, when we visited the castle ruins in Lisbon there was a guitarist playing Segovia style classical guitar in the courtyard. What a pleasure!

What a wonderful time you had in Georgia... despite the cold winter. Have you forgotten about it already? So what do we have to look forward to over the next few months...Barcelona and then what?
Hello We definitely have not forgotten the winter, it was much to brutal for us Aussies! We have alot planned over the next four months, maybe we should keep it a surprise for everyone! After Spain we are heading to Malta where Mikaelas grandmas sister lives, very exciting stuff!

Jerome & Hal XOX
Dear Hallie & Jerome Hi Hallie and Jerome, how are you both? How are you enjoying Middle School? I'm sure you would love it here, there are many baby animals at the moment as we are at the beginning of Spring. Today was nice and sunny and it was the first day since we arrived in December that I did not have to wear my massive jacket. I miss being at Cathedral and seeing you all as well. Nice to hear from you. Miss G
Very Peaceful We have a friend here in Thailand who is heading home, but is planning to teach abroad again in the future. She mentioned Georgia and I thought she was crazy. I guess I was just thinking of separatist movements and the devastation from the war with Russia. Anyways, the countryside and the mountains are beautiful. It sounds amazing to go wandering and find a little waterfall and church in the middle of nowhere. It looks like a very relaxing way of life. I will have to pass your blog on to her. By the way, I love the picture of the herd.
hello to the happy tourers Lovely to be part of your world again- that you once again for your wonderful tales. I have just re-read the whole blog again and it is awesome - I don't think I will ever get bored reading of your adventures.
Glad to hear you are both well again and still enjoying every minute of your days.
Ian and I are off to Vietnam 4/4 to 19/04 with Juanita and Geoffrey - it should be loads of fun.
I will definitely take Gastro Stop with me. Thanks Stacey.
They really have been a wonderful family and I am sure they will be part of our big family forever thank you to you both. There will be so many reflections in the years to come and I know they will be a major part of these memories. Say hello to them from Aunty Nell and Ian and have a Cha Cha with them on our behalf. Shaun has started work as a Chef again and is working hard and enjoying it. Now he has a car and Licence the world is a much easier place to navigate. His nose operation in December has been a great success and has made a world of difference to his general well being and take on life. It is so good to see him looking well and happy. Pop will be here next weekend for a few days so am really looking forward to seeing him. He is Moranbah this weekend for Lochlan's first birthday, then off to Rocky to Aunty Jo for a fewdays next week then on to us. He has been keeping himself busy and is doing well. He is off fishing for a couple of weeks in April with Tom feor his usual yearly expedition to Boorooloola and I amsure he will have a ball there. Hopefully he will catch a few .big barra so he will some interesting tales to tell you when youi come home.
Take care, stay warm and keep having fun and enjoying your family over there. We all love you very much and miss you heaps.
We've been reading the news about the very cold winter you're having... and are amazed that you remain so positive despite your adversity. Not sure I could go without a hot shower every day or eat beans for breakfast, kunch and supper four days in a row. Also, is it possible for you to switch schools so that Aaron gets to walk the longer distance...or at least alternate schools so that you both share the longer distance walk? Sorry to hear that you lost some pets. Keep up your spirits!
