Wonderful! What a wonderful picture of life you are painting here, Gwen. All good wishes to you and Michael and your family as you travel, work and celebrate with your loved ones.
Happy Christmas and all the best for 2012.
Love, Valerie
Have a wonderful Grecian Christmas. Hi Gwen, Michael and family, loved getting the photos, must be strange having a traditional cold Christmas. Liam , Jessica and their 2 little girls are coming from Singapore for Christmas week, and the rest of the family are coming up here for Christmas this year.
Keep warm safe and happy love Dinah
Hi Dear Gwen,
Great to hear about your adventures overseas.
When do you return from Greece?
I hope to go overseas in 2014 when I am due for long service again.
Merry Christmas,
Sally
Hi Gwen and Michael,
Can't believe it's two years since you went back to the land of Hercules and the oldest democracy in the world. You must have notice lot of social changes in the current economic turmoil.
We are still recovering from our recent trip to Europe and when we left Barcelona in early November, the weather was getting pretty cold and the Spanish were still shopping madly as they told me that the employed has to spend to keep the country going.
Michael is looking more Greek if he stay in Greece too often as all those years in Oz still can't give him a superficial appearance.
Christmas with falling snow is on my wish list!
Loves, Eric and Wendy
chook heaven I started to write a comment about the amazement I felt with the killing/eating of the aggresssive rooster. (Yes I did read blog, just haven't added comments) Now I can't find the appropriate spot for the comment.
We saw June's photos of the productive vege garden which was just being prepared during our spring visit. You could have your own market stall out the front.

Happy memories of Samos I have just read your Samos entry, and it reminds us that we need to take the photos to Irene. Irene and her late husband George said "You have to go to Samos. It is the best Greek Island". We did not visit many - so not sure if this is true, but I prefer the traditional atmosphere rather than the touristy ones. Janice x
How big is the garden. Dear Gwen and Mike, I am at Sandra's for tea tonight and we are on the computer looking at your photo's. Thankyou for your letter. I was wondering how big Mama's yard is? It all looks lovely.Love Elizabeth.
Happy Christmas Dear Gwen and Michael,
How wonderful all of this is - and it must have been so evocative to re-visit the church where you were married - your photos are beautiful, the colours so vivid. Happy Christmas to you both and to Nicholas -
love,
Valerie
Hi Gwen & Michael, Wow the pics are fantastic and I just love the Xmas scenes that are "painted" on the shop windows. They look awesome. The other pics of Michael and the greek themes are so great. I still have very fond memories of Greece. Yes,Winter is approaching over there but Melbourne's weather is almost as cold. There was snow in the mountains a couple of days ago! Yep typical Melb weather but we are getting some rain.Waiting to see more pics especially family ones.Stay safe, have loads of fun, relax and enjoy your well deserved holiday. (Love the blue pumpkins.reminds me of my Aunty's house only they were a natual colour) Take care and lots of love and kisses to everyone there (family & friends) Love Coula and Tony xxx :o)
Blue Gourds I don't know why they are blue- the old man who owed the house offered me some gourd seeds, but I declined. There is a house close by with red gourds, but must get a photo of that. Cheers Gwen
