Well that's two places your entire trip that I have been, Spain and Niagra Falls. I feel so worldly. :) Are you planning on doing one last blog just to wrap up your trip, feelings, final thoughts, etc...?

Philippine Eagle - nope! glad you had a great time in Boracay... But the eagle you've mentioned as Philippine Eagle is not a Philiippine Eagle... i think it's a sea eagle (am not so sure if it could be called a Philippine sea eagle hehe). The real Philippine Eagle is not supposed to be kept in cages and any business establishment keeping such wildlife would be in trouble!
Awesome!!! Thank you for sharing your awesome photos! I plan to go there in May 2008 and never been back to the Philippines since I left 23 years ago! This is so exciting and you all seemed like you had a great time.
Bravo Bravo pour le voyage, le blog, les photos, votre amour! Bon courage pour la suite. Elle commence bien avec l'appartememt... Continuez-la bien! Je vous embrasse tres fort tous les deux. Maman numero 3.

And its always nice to live so close to the office (across the street! wow!) more sleep time!!
great to be a part of it! it's sad that your journey has ended but far greater that you got to experience something a jillion people don't....and i know, for me, i'll always look back with fondness that i got to experience something once in a lifetime with 2 great friends. c'est bon!
You're right Mamu, it turns out that we did not mention the "this is not a night-club" quote. It was in the Admiral's Club in Terminal A. With all the excess drink coupons, the bartender thought that Meli, Louis, and I were making too many trips to the bar, Louis being the third to arrive. So it was to him that she said "this is not a nightclub, this is a VIP lounge," and she threatened to check into why we had so many drink coupons. (We had so many because they gave us more for a longer layover, and when we went to go get food and re-entered, they gave us even more).
I just spent the last hour slowing reading through and being completely engaged in your Spain blogs. Tons of feelings of nostalgia, both happy and sad filled me as a I read. I enjoyed seeing the familiar spots in Spain, and also felt a sense of loss when you talked about places that no longer exist, or changes that have taken place. It was also moving to hear how your mindset has changed from your 20's to 30's. Thank you both for sharing your worldwide travel experiences and for being an inspiration in my life as well.
Alea's an idiot ok, when i was younger i thought heneiken was a Virgin Islands beer-- it was the only respected drink (outside of rum), there were calypso odes to it, it had its own patois name... of course, makes sense since the VI was owned by the dutch for eons (Gade anyone??)- but yeah, my dumb moment. great blogging!
those bikes are hilarious-- as are Bettina's 3 billion and 1 exclamation points! i think you still have cappuccino coursing thru your veins : ) hey, is the "I AMsterdam" sign part of the AIDS aware campaign (I am Africa)? same colors and design... just wondering.
No more boards. No more rotations. No more pagers. We are done with med school, and we're out to see the world. Six continents. 15 countries. 10 languages. 54,417 air miles. 2 travelers. One! We are keeping this travel blog mainly as a travel diary for ourselves, but we also want to share our trip with family and friends. It's better than an interminable slide show at the end of the trip, right? We hope the travel blog becomes a great way for you guys to keep in touch with us (and to procrastinate)!
