hi everyone well i have settled down into life with contiki, contrast to popular belief we do actually work in amongst the alleged partying. ( ok yes we party alot too) its actually quite hard work you do long hours and only get one day off a week. its pretty cool though we live on site and all our food is included so it makes life easy. sometimes we have a ful day like 17 hours worth of work ( like last wed) and some days you work 6ish till 11ish cos its not busy then start again at 5 or [View Full Entry]

after st goar we headed into amsterdam in the netherlands. we first stopped to do a bike ride with a company called bike a dijk ( dike) a dijk is a sand hill in holland. we rode with this dutch lady claudia who was a really crazy. the ride was awesome and luckily noone ended up in the canals. although we did have a couple of crashes into poles. the cheese and clogs factory is next with a demo on how to make cheese and clogs which was interesting. we headed back for a quick change and after dinner went [View Full Entry]

hallo every 1 we left for munich and arrived late in the afternoon. after a quick tour and free time in the city where we climbed the church tower and had a quick look around we got changed for the beer hall dinner. i finished a whole stein ( 1 litre for those who are uneducated) im so proud!! we had a late one partying and got up the next morning to head for SWITZERLAND my personal highlight. we drove through yes through the mountains it is some of the most amazing countryside i have ever seen. the swiss alps [View Full Entry]

well hello not even going to attempt this language its just plain wierd!! we started with a trip to mauthaussen concentration camp which was a category three camp one of the worst for slavery and killings. ( photos on last blog) it was a moving yet interesting experience as i studied german history. we left there and went to cesky kremlov which is where the movie Hostel was filmed a little creepy but a cool little town none the less,. ok firstly the czech country has a wierd currency called the korun or as us unco aussies call it the [View Full Entry]

well finding internet in our hostels is really easy. and cheap too 2 euros just brought me 80 mins. well Vienna is such a nice town we started in town with a horse and cart ride with 4 others from my tour. its such an experience and one i recomend for anyone. the tour went right around the city and lasted over an hour. after wandering a little and having lunch we headed back to go see the royal palace where dozens of marching bands were playing in some special event. WITH VENICE oh my god im so coming back here its the most beautiful city. and by far my favourite of the tour, After a night on the ferry which was a bit rocky i must say kinda like being rocked to sleep. we pulled into venice the view is amazing you can see into the city and words cannot describe it ( yes i know you all want photos but you have to bloody wait). off the ferry and back on our mobile home ( the contiki bus) we drove out of venice to a little town called semione [View Full Entry]
