so we;ve moved into our cute little studio apartment! its very cute and small - which is good cos we cant hoard too much crap! we've got bean bags, a garage sale tv and awesome piccies from on surfari, an internet gallery cafe in yaroomba, (just down the road from marcoola!). im applying for jobs at bcf, lincraft and bunnings today - gettng a bit desperate! went for a job interview on sat with australia zxoo but it took like 40 mins to get there and wiuth petrol so expensive, i dont think its very practical! knowing my luck ill get [View Full Entry]

well, i was working at this awful bistro, ive never hated somewhere as much as there! well, on the 19th we move into our beautiful little studio apartment right on the beach at marcoola! can't wait, it'll be so nice to get out of the tent for a little bit! its tiny, but thats good cos it means we dont have to buy much, and it has a gym and a pool! very happy little kids! deano is working for a trussing company - he is such a tradey! and getting lots of over time! im hoping to start packing tomatoes this week, good hours and okay pay. i worked at marcoola surf club earlier in the [View Full Entry]

well, after hating byron and not lasting more than a night, we headed north and as a bit of a spare of the moment thing, we decided to head over and spend 2 weeks on moreton island (40kms off brisbane..). so after paying the fees - $165 for the car ferry, $30.80 for a car permit and $9 a night for camping, we set up camp at Scarborough for the night to wait for the ferry in the morning. Well, we've spent the last twoo weeks travellingup the coast, with our first stop for 5 days at Crowdy Bay - which was awesome and the weather was really beautiful... had a few days fishing and driving along the beach and went for an awesome bushwalk down fisherman's trail to this beautiful little inlet. Deanos and I heading from here to hat head national park, which is an awesome dune system with a smallish campground at Hungry Head. well, deanos and I have pretty much got everything under control - the roof top tent went on today and is so freakign high... bit scary but is pretty awesome - no crocs for us! i've sent him home to pack his bag and then we've just got to pack the car tomorrow morning and monday. very much looking forward to having a bowl tomorrow arvo - will be good to relax after the last week! our first stop will be crowdy bay national park just south of port mac... there's open fires there so we wont freeze (too much!) and [View Full Entry]

well, as part of my 21st present deanos gave me a voucher for freemanx.com, a website that would let me choose what i wanted to do from all sorts of things like hang-gliding, skiy diving etc. so i made him jump out of a plane with me this morning and it was the most amazing thing ive ever done! we did the mission down to picton this morning at 6 am in the rain not thinking we'd even get a chance to dive, but as soon as we got past sydney the sky was blue and the sun shining! so now [View Full Entry]

Deanos and I are currently packing our bags and getting ready for the adventure we've wanted to do for ages! Our first stop will be Crowdy Bay National Park, just south of Port Macquarie.... and If it's not completely freezing we'll be there for a week or so! The paj is going to be very packed up!
