The man was waiting for us. He showed us where he would be doing the interview then Mark Barb and I just wandered around the museum and had coffee. It is beautiful there. Left and went inside Diamond Head. First time I had ever been in it. Was looking for a lighthouse Mark and Karen saw from the top of Diamond Head. Finally found it but couldnt get in. Came back and Mark Barb and Karen went to the beach for awhile. Mark and Karen left early this morning and hiked to the top of Diamond Head. They made reallly good time. Barb Bob and I had breakfast togather. When Mark and Karen got home they took off for the beach. Barb and I went shopping for awhile. Didnt have much luck. Bob had to stay in for his diaretic. Yesterday got away and by the time we got home from dinner Bob and I were so tired so I will try to do both days now. We went to Punchbowl yesterday morning. It is so beautiful there. It wasnt crowded at all so we went thur the murals. Bob told us all about where he was. Karen recorded it on her camera. This afternoon we took the bus and went back downtown to the Ilolani Palace. It was open and worth the extra trip. It was not only beautiful but so interesting too. Have been sitting on the patio having coffee. It is so nice. Yesterday we started off driving downtown to the palace. Finally found a place to park walked a ways only to find the palace was closed on Mondays We did go into the courthouse and it is very pretty and interesting. Yesterday we just got settled in and went out for a nice dinner at the Hula Grill located in the Outrigger. Today we will go downtown to see Iolani palace and other things.
