Boy is my nose out of joint today!!! My masters went to Edmonton and left me here with the folks! Now how do they expect me to give you a report on the day if I am not with them? So understand, that today's report is all hearsay! They tell me they went to Tim's for breakfast then headed to Edmonton about 7:30 AM. About an hour and a half down the road, there was a convoy. Hi everyone: Well another day here in Wainwright! This morning my master went to the Internet Cafe and sent our my blog for me and checked their emails. Then at noon, the folks went out to the Wainwright Golf Club and had a buffet lunch, which they claim was very good. My master has not been feeling well for the past 24-hours, so this afternoon, he went to the hospital. They discovered he had a bladder infection and gave him an antibiotic. Woof from Wainwright: Well, it has been a rather quiet day. As a matter of fact, I just laid around here at the house and enjoyed my extended rest! My master took the car in for a oil and lube today and and went through the car wash. Then he found an internet cafe where he was able to post my blog for me. The cafe has a good setup and my master was impressed with the computer store that housed it. It was really quiet a size for this little town of Wainwright. Hi everyone: Well here we are in Alberta at Sharon's Mom and step-Dad's! We arrived about 2:30 P (Alberta time) yesterday afternoon. My masters were both very tired and so retired early. We all had a great night of sleep and are feeling much better today. None of us spent a very good night in the motel the night before last. Even though my masters sprayed and had a plug-in deodorizer, it only masked the tobacco smell very temporarily. So we were up early (5:30 AM) and on the road. Hello again: It's me - your favourite canine blogger, I hope! Today was actually a little boring, as there wasn't a lot to see. After breakfast at the motel, we left and headed north-west. It wasn't long before we ran into prairie-like scenery for miles and miles. Every now and then we would see a "hill" along the way. My masters had lunch at Denny's and then filled up the car before crossing the border. There happened to be a pet store at this stop, so they bought me some treats - Aussie Wraps - beef-n-cheesy. Greetings all: Well quite an uneventful day for the most part today! A couple of interesting items though. We stopped for a coffee at a place called Caribou Coffee! It was a place on a par with Starbucks, complete with free wi-fi! However notice the selection of washroom facilities they offered us!! (see pic!) Not really - they had the real things! Well, hello again everyone! We have arrived up here in north-west Wisconsin at a place called Webster. We are visiting with friends, Blaine & Jeannie. They are folks that Sharon knows from her days in PNG (Papua, New Guinea). Actually I heard Jeannie and Sharon were good friends as singles and spent many Saturday mornings visiting over coffee discussing the possibility if either would ever marry.
