Yesterday was one for the history books. During the day we walked around Barcelona and checked out a gothic church that is enormous. Afterwards we just did a little site seeing around the city but the real craziness was last night for the World cup. We ended up at restaurant in an area called las Ramblas. The food their was insane good and we were drinking wine and beer the whole time. When the game came on, much to our dismay and many others in the restaurant, the stupid owner would not put the volume up. So we were all watching the world cup with no sound!!!!!! Wayne decided to take matters in his own hands which was brilliance. While I was arguing about having no sound to our waiter, Wayne noticed that the remote was ... read more

We are in Barcelona now after a 7 hour bus ride from San Sebastian. Bit of a brutal ride down here but we are here and everything has worked out well. Went to the beach today and was not to impressed with it. Considering how amazing San Sebastian was the beach here doesn´t even compare. Water was a little warmer but their are no waves and the sand is not that great. Regardless it was still an amazing beach day especially because it is blazing hot out here. Our trip is starting to come to an end here and we are just relaxing and soaking in the last few days we have left. Tonight we are planning of course to go watch Spain bring a fury to the Netherlands. Viva Espana... read more

Well we were not able to make it out to watch the running of the bulls which was a big bummer, although, we did make it back to watch a bull fight. One of my childhood dreams was to watch a bull fight in Spain and it officially came true and it was all worth it. We left San Sebastian and showed up to the arena hoping we could score a ticket from a scalper. We get into Pamplona and get completely lost trying to find the arena only to realize it was a block away from where we started. As we walk up to it, people left and right are hitting us up for tickets and before we start negotiations I wanted to see how much they were at the box office. Before I even ... read more

Decided to stay another couple of days in San Sebastian to relax cause the San Fermin Festival (running of the bulls) beat us up pretty good. Didn´t do anything crazy just relaxed by the beach had a few beers and looked like perverts staring at the topless ladies. Their is a down side to a topless beach because sometimes old beat to hell dudes decide it necessary to drop it all for the world to see. Its pretty freaking bano. After the beach we went to watch Spain beat up German at a local bar. It was pretty intense watching it with the locals. Of course we didn´t tell them a week ago we were cheering for Germany. Yeah yeah we are bangwagon fans but I only am for reason of not wanting to get scalped ... read more

Well we ended up waking up at 7 am to catch a bus from San Sebastian to Pamplona. We arrived there at 10 am and the nonsense began immediatly. First order of busniess was to get our supply of sangria then second order of busniess was to drink till are eyes were crossed eyed, which was what exactly happened. As we rolled through the streets, a band was playing traditional Espana songs through the streets. We found it necessary to follow the band whereever they went and it turned out to be a great decision. As we followed the band Wayne found it necessary to yell "HEY" during a part of the song for several blocks. Now at first I was a bit embarssed for him because he was the only one doing it, although, by ... read more

Well we celebrated fourth of July traveling from Munich to Spain. Bit of a long travel day but we ended up in Bilbao, spain for the night and now we are in San Sebastian. This place is amazzzzing, such a beautiful town with beautiful beaches and some very lovely ladies as well. We ended up meeting up with my friend Ryan and his friend Jeff. They were staying in Pamplona and decided to come down and hang out at the beach with us. The beach was probably the best beach in the history of the world. Not only is the ocean nice but you can drink beer and its a topless beach as well. Beach, Beer, and boobies its pretty much heaven really. Didn´t really do anything too exciting just relaxed and tried are best not ... read more

enajr, Germany and Spain Today we went to a concentration camp outside of Munich called Dachu. Talk about a sad, eye opening, and dramatic experience. It was unbelievable to be walking around in such an evil and deadly place. This concentration camp is the only camp to have been around for all 12 years of the Nazi´s regin. It was built to house 6,000 prisoners and ended up housing 60,000 people. The conditions were absolutely horrible and even more horrific was the things they did to those poor prisoners. They had a crematorium, a gas chamber, and a death room. All three were such a sad thing to see, knowing how many people were killed. What even made it more sad is seeing the pictures of the many people who were murdered then walking through the ... read more

Arrived in Munich today and its still hot as monkey fart. Are room was not available at the time so we went to a science museum in town. It remined me of the smithsonian, their was a lot of scientific stuff I had no idea what it did. Yes it did have explaination of the reason for it and the significance....but i still had no idea what they were saying; "The energy needed to create a magnetic field can be reclaimed when the field is destroyed and this energy can, therefore, be considered as "stored" in the magnetic field. The energy stored in a magnetic material depends on values of both B and H." Awesome.....Thank you for reassuring that I am an idiot. After visiting smat-man´s world for a stupid-man we headed back to our hostel ... read more

July 1st 2010

We decided to head out to Nuremburg for the day and it turned out to be pretty nice. Nuremberg, during the third reich, was the center point for many parades and demonstrations of its power. It was a pretty interesting place. Well for the most part it was till we ended up in some toy museum. I guess the town is known for its toy making but the museum had nothing but crap in it. Not one of the toys seemed cool enough to even have. It basically was a place filled with B.S. that you can find in the most boring house in the world. It cost 5 euros for the stupid thing and I am sure I would have made better use out of the money using it to start a fire or blow ... read more

My feet are bleeding from the amount of walking we did today. We decided to just hit up all of the sites Berlin had to offer. Went to holocaust memorial muesum, capital building, checked out the park, and the east side gallery which has different types of artwork that is painted on the Berlin wall. Sleeping has been an issue right now, have not been able to adjust to well to time change but we also have not been relaxing at all. We are making sure to try and make use of the little time we have here. Funny because we seem to run out of gas every two hours and get back in the game by stopping and crushing some beers. We pretty much can drink anywhere in this city and we make sure to ... read more
