Sponsored Child What an amazing trip Matthew. I know your life has changed from this experience and I can't wait to hear all about your experience. What humbling photos of where Mwenda & his Mom live. Wow! What a blessing that you got to meet them. I will be praying for a safe flight home and I can't wait to see you. Love you, Jana
Building the Kingdom Playing Soccer was the vehicle that took you to Africa, but as you mentioned in the narrative of your last newsletter(and they have all been fantastic!),coaching , mentoring , training other lives has become your new direction. None of the material stuff of our lives will accompany us or meet us in heaven, but all those who know Christ will! May it be comforting to know that these precious relationships that you have forged in SA and Kenya will forever be with you for eternity because of the goispel of Jesus Christ. Praying for you as you re-enter the complex materialism of thye U.S. Mrs. D.
When you get back home Matt,
When you get back home, let's get together and discuss how we can use soccer as an outreach of EBC. We also have a young man at EBC who does Rugby, perhaps we can use these two sports to start a sports outreach?
Praying for you,
Greg Koehn
I thank God for every rememberance of you Matt,
Wow, God is doing amazing things through you. You may not see the total impact here, but you will in eternity. I see especially how God is working in your heart. Thank you for sharing!
God bless you,

Hey Matthew! Just wanted to say that this blog really touched my heart. These last few weeks have been pretty discouraging for me for a lot of different reasons. Tonight, I thought Id check out your new post and it really hit home. God does so much work around us and through us that we don't see. Thanks a lot for your posts because they are a blessing.
Really your room?? This doesn't look like your room at home. [the one I have to step thru to get to the bed] You must have a maid come in every day. I'm so proud of what you are doing. Love you. Grandma
Scripture Memory So excited to hear of your goal to memorize Ephesians. Fro 30 years , scripture memory has been the means by which the Holy Spirit has spoken most deeply into my soul. Th passages are whispered by God into your mind at all of the most opportune times, bringing peace, mercy, healing, comfort, correction, rebuke, etc. The WORD IS alive!! Go for it Matt! The blessingsfor you and others will be rich!
Sounds like you are right where God wants you Matthew. Every time I read your blog I feel so much joy for you. Keep doing what you're doing and I know God will use you in so many ways. Thinking of you daily. Love you tons, Jana
Wow! Sharing the gospel with so many while doing what you love! Cannot get better than that. So proud of you and maybe just a little jealous! Love you!
Playing Tour Sounds like an awesome week of cross cultural exposure and lots of enrgetic kids!!! We are praying for you! It is so exciting how God is going to use your hands and very fast feet for Christ's work!
(Mark leaves at 5a.m. for Madagascar...)
