Last summer we did a two months trip along Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda. One of the most amazing places we visited was Serengeti National Park, in Tanzania. The safari was wonderful. Our driver and guide, Peter, knew absolutely everything about the animals. He could manage to drive and spot the animals, even if they were 200m away hidden in the undergrowth. We spent almost the full day in the game drives, going back to the camp only for sleeping and having the meals. The cooker was quite good too. I can't understand how he was able to make those fantastic pizzas or quiche lorraine in the middle of nothing! We could see all kind of animals you can imagine: lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, hippos, wildebeest, zebras,... even a rhino! We stayed in campsites, sleeping in ... read more
