Maps and such
Dylan and I finally looked at an atlas last night to see where you are. BTW, the "brand new" atlas I used in college is no longer very current. What?! Never mind, this isn't about me... Hope you're having a great time!

not mine!
Dude, I did not cook at all my last week there. Maybe someone thought it was mine and put my tag on it? How is the new housemate search going? Did kitty ever come back? I miss the house. Oh! So a woman came up to us asking for donations for a deaf school in Cusco and I responded in sign language to say "Sorry, no" and she understood. I guess some signs are universal. (I had thought it would be different)

Yep... most people who live in South America are FASCINATED with American-looking people, so that isn't surprising they're coming up to you..... and thanks, now I can't stop thinking about people eating guinea pigs. Yikes. Haha. Glad you all are having fun!!!! :D Stay safe and enjoy yourselves!

AIEE
You are DEFINITELY living it up!!! Sting-ray omelet, salsa dancing, buses at 5am? That's epic. LOL. Water pressure....you could call the maintenance guy after clearing it with Dean. I would love better H2O pressure too. :) 17 hours total traveling? Wow... what did you do? Good thing you had Elana for company and maybe some tourist/language books.

Disssshesssss
What's funny is that there's a pan on the stove with your clip on it. :P Dean asked the whole house if it was indeed yours, and nobody knew.

phone call
We're so sorry we missed your phone call last night! Your mom said you'd be calling around 11-11:30 am so we were around then. Do you have my cell phone number? You can almost always reach me on the cell. If you don't have it ask your mom. More chance of our connecting through the cell. Hope you're having a GREAT time! love Uncle Jon
