monkeys close to you!
So this so reminds me of how when I was in Australia that I got to walk straight up to the koala bear on the reserve and pet it as it was in the tree. Ya the koala was like sleeping, but come on.. it was still cool. And I had Kangaroos eat out of my hand.. and that's cool too.. but not a monkey. You beat me on that one.

that smell
Forgot to add.. that is the smell of Ozone. formed from high voltages in the air and blown towards the the ground by wins just before it rains. saw that on discovery

the smell in the air before it rains
Lived in Ghana till I was 16 and left for the US 11 years ago. That smell before it rains especially before a thunderstorm is what I miss most about Ghana. Can't really describe it. Its just great. Finally someone knows what I knew all these years!

Hmmm, I think you need to get a new mattress. Tanya says you will bring it home in your luggage otherwise, and guess what, you already brought home fleas, no bed bugs allowed.

So I am so happy that you have found a group to work with. This is so you and I know you will be really happy there.. since mom and I know you went to Africa to save all the little African babies :) And.. so for my Mardi Gras Ball (pics are up btw) I told my mother that we had chatted via Facebook and she was so excited, and a bit jealous. But such is life. I know you're having fun.. but have some more!
