What a great post, its always interesting to see who people really are behind their travelblog alter egos. Fantastic pictures, you must have really brought your tripod and kept your eyes open to spot "the English Rainforest" and "derwwent jetty"! Tell Richard and Kim that because of this blog we are ALL looking forward the pictures and stories of their honeymoon travelblog! |

| 2nd September 2007 anna & Chris | Expensive NZ - From: Be active or buy activity As Kiwis, I'm sad to admit that the tourist activities are way over-priced - although we never really realised it before we left. The best things in life are free - this is certainly the case in nz! I'm gald you made the effort to see the natural wonders that made nz so good. Well done for finding the natural arch near Waitomo. A personal favourite of ours that not many people bother with! |

| 29th July 2007 Tom | Title is misleading - From: Around the world in 716 days - our Top 10 lists The title "Around the world in 716 days - our Top 10 lists" is misleading. The world tour is incomplete without visiting India.India is "Half the world". Realy. The title should be"Around Half of the world in 716 days - our Top 10 lists" |

| 22nd March 2007 Kathy | Well... - From: The infectiousness of abuse I've been in Brazil twice, once in Rio 2 years ago where I did the same tour. We were just 15 people no stressed at all. Everything was just fine and we loved to meet the favela's kind people and Brazilians in general. Such a wonderfull people, incredible places. It wasn't Carnival though! Too much tourists could ruin even the moon. By the way, to understand carnival better try to find the historical catolic-non-catolic facts of it. G'luck! |
| 2nd March 2007 Mark | - From: Suffocating in the Gore Tex® Hi your photos are amazing, may be it would have been worth getting up for the sunrise at the Torres! Hope you found somewhere to stay / hang your hammocks in Rio, it was crazy where we were and I still have the cold to show for it. I´m back in Buenos Aires now, Sarah starts work on Monday. It was great to meet you and I hope you´re both well, Mark |

| 8th January 2007 Andrew Paisley | Not jealous now - From: On the Death Road with Sissi and the space cadets Hi again guys. Well, I was abit jealous after reading your last blog, but by the sounds of this bus trip I don't think I can express any jealousy about that one. Hmmm...maybe the office isn't such a bad place to be after all. Cheers. |

| 30th December 2006 lovelyplanet | How long? - From: Above the clouds We have been travelling for 21 and a half months straight. The dates of our blogs normally correspond to the departure date of the country/region. The exception is Australia where we spent a total of six months without doing much blogging. (Maybe I will fill this gap somewhere in the future.) |

| 14th December 2006 Antonio | Great article - From: The back door to the Lost City Hi all, It's always funny to read how a "gringo" (LOL) see us, peruvians. Because I'm peruvian and I live in Peru, I can't see my country with the same eyes... It's very interresting. You are talking about the Machu Picchu. I think you can talk more about the Inca Trail because it's a wonderfull Trek. You have websites like www.inca-trail.com.pe that permits to see availabilities in real time and I think it's important to say that people can't go to Cusco and buy directly a Trek. Things are more complicate. You need to reserve months before. So, to conclude, .... take care and welcome to Peru!!! |
| 13th December 2006 Jena Hazlerigs | Beautiful Pictures! - From: The back door to the Lost City Absolutely breathtaking! |

| 23rd October 2006 Andrew Paisley | Jealous - From: Who put all that paint into my face? Hi guys, great to get another update on your fantastic journey. This one about PNG was great to read. Yes, in the comfort of Aus we do get an impression through the media of a somewhat lawless and AIDS affected community in PNG, but as in all places (as you know) visiting the general population usually uncovers pleasant, friendly and hospitable people. I am more than a little jealous of your terk up Mt Wilhelm, but not so sure the little old legs could do it so easily these days. BTW, Kristina has skipped off to Hanoi in Vietnam for a couple of weeks (use up some of my FF points). Keep us posted on future travels. Cheers, Andrew. |
| 20th October 2006 Erik 2006 | Thank you! - From: Who put all that paint into my face? I'll be moving to Moresby soon and will be living there for 2 years. As I have never been to PNG yet it was interesting to read your stories and see your photos. |
| 29th June 2006 Nepe | Is life possible without? - From: Soccermania in OZ? While in Switzerland BLICK now is entitled KöBI (after Köbi Kuhn the Swiss coach) and there is no meeting without talking about THE GAMES and no food without hint at the game of the games, you describe a world where life goes on without the ball - incredible. It was much fun to read your article - we are looking forward to further ones. Enjoy your big journey - it's the game of YOUR life. |
