We landed in london yesterday morning around 8:40It took us a while to get to our flat. The hardest part wasn't meneuvering through the airport and to the busses with our luggage with 59 other people not wanting to leave Daniel's side. The hardest part was staying awake on the ride to Notting Hill.Bus/car rides are the only things that make me tired?and we found traffic.I was doing word puzzles, organized p hotos on my laptop..everything and anything to stay awake. When we finally arrived I was completely breathless.Going down a little street with amazing houses sits 11 Palace Court. My home for the next four months. It's so perfect and typical.I was in the basement which worried me a bit until I actually saw it.I walked in the door to my flatt which is very roomy and especially since im ... read more

It's so quiet on the plane. Everyone finally fell asleep. I've been forcing myself tto sleep the whole time, but I can't anymore. It's 6:51 UK time, so I will have a long day ahead of me, although I feel like I'll be ok. The sun is rising but hasn't hit above the clouds yetwhich is really prety. Everyone keeps commenting on how cool and chil i've been about eerything. Which is true, but so weird. I wonder when it's going to hit me. The plane was sooo hot before we took off.We taxied out and then the pilot comes on and says "we've just taxied out but so did 22 other planes. We are currently in line number 23.It will be a while"Actually it only took maybe 30 minutes to take off. They were very swift about ... read more

College. My College. It's actually here. No more open houses or summer orientation. I'm here, and here to stay (well at least until monday afternoon) So far some of my classmats and myself have endured akward icebreaker (including the pair im wearing over) Thats it. Somehow that is 100 poiuds of clothes to last me four months. Yup...im ready to go to one of the fashion capitals of the world. The book mom had made for me was absolutely amazing. I couldn't believe all the people that signed it. Everything was so amazing that everyone told me and i appreciate all of it. We had our first dance as college students. Any difference...hmm...the songs aren't sensored and well its mostly a girl school so its not as raunchy haha. There was something exhilerating about walking into ... read more

I was invited to this Exploring Liberty Seminar at Princeton University. It was totally free so i decided to check it out. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would have met the people that I met, and became friends with the people I befriended! I am always nervous entering into something I know nothing about. Then again, who isn't? I walk into my enormously wonderful dorm to find my roomate on her cell phone. I will admit it. The sheer fact that she was a college student intimidated me. The fact that I later realized I was by far the youngest person at the entire seminar...that went far beyond intimidation and straigt to crapping my pants in fear! But we'll get more into that later. The first lecture was a grand welcome to ... read more

So today is cold, unlike the last two days have been. I have been over-eating like crazy. Me, Sierra, Rina, Risa, and Anganie were in KFC and my mom called me and told me that I got accepted into the FYSAE. So, I am going to LONDON for this fall's semester! OMG i am so excited. We went shopping to celebrate and I bought the cutest dress with purse and jacket and stuff to match. As for the rest of the day, we're heading into a captioning conference...oooh fun We left the conference early to go to the Wax Museum. THat was pretty cool. They weren't as real as I thought they would be though. But still, I took some pretty amazing pictures with the celebrities. After that was shopping and back to the hotel. We ... read more

So, we've all packed and we're saying good-bye to the house, the beach, the island, the country. Saying good-bye to the crystal blue water, warm plesant nights, fast-speaking natives, and driving on the left side of the road. A week has gone by and we've spent our money on jet-ski's, three times, drinks, ice cream, zip line tours, snorkling, and of course...jewlery. We've all been tan and a little burnt. But we're all going home with a little more color than we came with, some more patience, we're more relzxed, and ahundred more memories. We're ready to go back to our lives, to work, and school, friends and family, and lastly, to the cold. ... read more

So for the last two days we've done nothing but sit at the beach for two days and tan and rent wave runners and eat. Tonight me and lauren went to the store. I bought ice cream and smirnoff. yes, I bought alcohol and I sat and drank at the bar and gambled. It was the coolest experience ever. I guess it kinda ruined my 21 birthday though. haha ... read more

Today mom woke us up at like 8:30 so that we could say when everyone was in school in first period we were swimming in the ocean (There's a one hour time difference so it was 7:30 back home) The water was kinda cold...75 degrees maybe ) We came back to the room and had pancakes and watched a movie while our food digested. We jumped in the Yaris and roamed around the island. The original plan was to roam the island and jump into every beach round the island. So i wore a bathing suit and sophie's and flipflops. Well..that turned into climbing a mountain in flip flops with sticker bushes with 2 inch thorns and aloe-vera plants bigger than me. Plus it has just rained so the ground was mushy. I was not a ... read more

Today we just went and layed out at the beach. We both got mad color. I'm a little burnt on my face and shoulders, but all in all it's not bad. My dad rented jetskis for me and lauren. We went out around the small islands and far our into the ocean. At one point I went far enough out that I could see all the shorelines and the mountains...and I just floated there. It was so beautiful and unreal. I couldn't believe it. The water and the sky were crystal clear and blue. THe only way to tell the difference from the water to the sky were the clouds or waves haha An amazing mental image *click* haha just playin...im not that crazy...however I am a photographer hmm... Well anyways little did Lauren and I ... read more
