I guess the travelblog website crashed sometime while I was in new york and some of my entries were lost. I managed to get some of them back but I think at least of them is just gone. It looks like we are going to be coming home sooner than we expected. We have been having a hard time feeling at home or even comfortable here and we are just ready to go. We are aiming to take a train to new york city on wednesday or thursday to stay for a few days until we come back to louisville. Ok I just noticed this thing automatically dates things for the day after I post them which is weird... i will try to change it to the correct date as I remember. Today we went to the Cooperstown brewery... which is actually in Milford but close enough I guess. We took the tour and also got to sample six kinds of beer... and they give you a hearty sample size of each let me tell you. The beers were delicious so we had a great time. Well everyone... we are mischa and I are finally in new york. It was not an easy journey on the greyhound. The last 10 hours of our ride we got separated because the bus was very full when we got on and we were lucky to even get a seat at all. I had to sit near the front and mischa near the back. My seat was next to a rather large man and I was halfway in the aisle the whole ride which made it very difficult to sleep. We leave for new york. There are a few buses leaving at various times but i think we are going to take the one at 6:15. It's a 17 hour ride so we will arrive in new york city on sunday around noon. We are staying with mischa's dad for a few days in the east village and then taking a bus to cooperstown. We are thinking we will do that on wednesday. Mischa is now going with me to the farm in new york. The man who owns it wasn't sure how he felt about the both of us coming for a visit but after talking to both of us on the phone he seems to be ok with it. As of now we are aiming to leave by this weekend. I can't even be excited about it because every time we think we have everything done then it turns out we have 5 more things to do or wait on. So today mischa and I are taking it hour by hour trying to decide if we are getting on the bus to new york today. His mom is very sick right now and although she really wants us to go ahead with our trip we are not sure what to do. There is a possibility that we may have to turn around and come back once we get there but we seem to be accepting that and moving more towards the decision to get on the bus at 6 today. So today is the first day this week I have had a chance to relax... being that all week even though I have not had a job I have had tons of errands to run in preparation for my travels.
