Raining very heavily for most of Thursday.I bet some of you reading this will be laughing at that!!! Babes and Jacko headed out for their early morning run as usual, top effort for those guys. Good Morning Everyone, Another early start with everyone meeting at the breakfast table at 7am not before our two resident runners Babes and Jacko were off out pounding the beach before 6am!!. We had to meet this early because our taxi was booked for 7.45 am to take us to the cricket ground for the Australia match. Another very early start with Pels,Jacko and Babes up and about at 6am local time.....Seems the body clock is telling us it is 10am uk time,bizarre indeed!! Firstly a very Happy Birthday to Ravi who celebrates another year today. After another night sampling the All Inclusive Fare which included Penis Coladas,Sea Breezes and Midnight Sunshine we all surprisingly had an early start.We were fed and watered and sat at the pool by 8.30am.....A big shout for Babes and Gordon (Jacko) who got up with the lark and went on a 35 minute run this morning!! The first two risers at an impressive 6am were Pels and Gordon who headed for Reception to post some pictures on the blog from our trip over here. We were soon met by Adam and Drylie. We headed upstairs at just after 7am to the good sized Breakfast area where we again had an excellent choice of cereals, full English etc. The consensus from the boys was that the food was good with a big selection. After an hours delay we finally boarded the Island Hopper from Antigua to St Kitts. It was a small 40 seater with propellers where you could sit anywhere. Adam, Drylie and Ravi who went to the very back row managed to wangle 2 cans of Red Stripe Beer each from The Air Stewardess on a supposed dry flight!! They were happy and the others tried to sleep on the short 20 minute journey to St Kitts. Once we arrived in St Kitts we soon realised that cases were missing!! Well, where do we start.??. After a later night than anticipated we met at 5.40 am at The hotel reception, well all of us except two, who of course will remain unnamed!!!….feel free to guess who the two culprits were!! We jumped on a bus which was provided by the hotel at a wonderful price of £3 and that drove us to Gatwick airport South terminal. Hello everyone,we are here in Antigua Airport after a long flight from London Gatwick,we will comment about our flight etc on the next blog but this is just a quick blog to say we are awaiting our call for our flight to St Kitts from Antigua Airport.The boys are all in fine fettle and have at last sampled the famous Red Stripe Beer!!!
