I left off after I had visit Humayan's tomb. Silly me...just twenty-four hours ago, I thought bargaining with a taxi driver was something. Then Aly came back from her meeting. I am officially jet-lagged. Not that I wasn't before, but I think my mind was so excited to be in India it told my body to forget about it for a couple of a days, and now I am tired! That's ok though, because we have one more night in the nice hotels and then we begin the trip that involves dirty trains, chaining our stuff to ourselves so nothing gets stolen and taking a shower whenever you see one cause you don't know when the next one will be. Also known as....watch out for that rat... Or the many animals of Mumbai. So I went out in India. While Aly was at her meeting I went for a walk around the Gateway to India and the touristy shops behind the Taj hotel and towards Leopold's (restaurant of Shantaram fame). I'M HERE!!!! And it only took me a day and a half. I'm leaving for India today, which means I don't have too long to write this, because I have to go pack. I'm setting this blog up so that everyong back home can track me and my sister as we travel through India.
