FINALLY
Alex, You experienced something that you will never experience in the United States. The ofuro is something really mind boggling, you think that everyone is looking but actually no one cares that is until you open your mouth and they find out that you are gaijin. Well soon you will be coming home and I guess I have to kick J out of the game room. Remember to see as much as you can because you never know when the next time you will be there. LOL :P Mom and J

SO HAPPY BUT YET SO SAD
First, J and I miss you. But you know that already. I am glad that you got to see the destruction of what Nuclear weapons can do. When you walked through the Museum did you see the shadow of the man sitting at the bank? That was sad and you can just imagine sitting there without any knowledge of what was going to happen. SUMO - must have made you miss Bobs huh??? ha ha ha, nah just kidding CHARMINGDEVIL! Well some people have to work and make a living so I will chat with you later. Much love and kisses **mom and J

i LOVED miyajima when i went on the summer trip!!! I'm so glad that you got to check it out because it really is a beautiful place. how's school life going for you lex, good i hope. I hope that you've made lots of japanese friends and are learning to become fluent. can you feel yourself getting better yet? oh, i'm am so excited to come (it's amost time >_<) and i can't wait to meet up with you and have you tell me EVERYTHING that's happened so far. anyways girl, keep having fun and enjoying your precious time there. see you in a few days Lexi!!!

Dear Alex, How are you doing? It was really fun reading your journal. Kaylyn wants to know "what is a poop"? Just joking, ha, ha, ha. Everyone here is doing fine. Kaylyn's soccer team just won their first game of the season. The score was 6-3 (Kaylyn didn't get to score a goal yet, maybe next game). Taryn had her last game of the soccer season on Saturday. We stayed at the soccer field from 11:00am to 7:00pm, eating, watching other soccer games and just hanging out with the other players and parents. Taryn is planning to take a break from soccer and will concentrate on piano and school. Well, we just wanted to say hello and that we miss you a lot. We will write again later.
