I am almost done my Master's and it has been keeping me busy, but I have finally left Sydney. I headed north up the coast to Newcastle and Coffs Harbor for a work trip with Monster Energy. I have to say I have a pretty amazing job for being in school, travelling around sampling energy drinks at fun events and Aussie beaches :) The best part is getting paid to travel to different towns. I went on a great day trip with Oz Trails last week to see the Blue Mountains. The day started with an early pick up (not so fun after my night out at a beach front bar). We headed to a few look out points and waterfalls. The hike was not too bad, which was good because we had alot of slow older people as well as some couples wearing suits, hiking, really? So I have been in Australia for just over a month now. Things have been really busy with school lately so I haven't updated my blog! But here goes, these are the touristy things I have done recently. I went to the Taronga zoo (in Sydney) and met a Koala and some Kangaroos! The zoo had some really cool animals, but alot of them were not on display! I have to say I still prefer the San Diego zoo. But.. I have heard there are some better zoos and wildlife sanctuary's in Australia so I will have to check them out. [View Full Entry]

Well I am finally in Sydney, Australia. It took months of planning and weeks of packing. Here is my first update. The plane ride was what I expected it to be, long. I watched almost four full movies, took two gravol and slept for about 8 hours and listened to about half my IPod selection. Sadly, there were no upgrades like my flight to China, with the fully reclining bed on the second floor of the plane.
