Hi, I'm Erika and last June I moved to Panama from Italy with my partner Fabio looking for a different lifestyle: we love travelling and during these last years we visited many countries like Spain, France, Austria, Egypt, Thailand, Maldives, Cuba, Mexico, Usa and Panama.
These trips taught us that happiness could be something different from all we usually think: we saw this happiness in the eyes of many children and adults which actually didn't have nothing, while in our "rich" country we have lost this purity and we are never happy enough and always searching something more, without appreciate all we have. From that moment we started questioning our lifestyle, and looking for a place where start a new life, focus on our family, nature and a better living.
After a year in Panama we have built our house (ecofriendly!), opened a B&B called "La Pepita de Marañon" and still keep on following our dream! Come to visit us!

Finally we could discover what Panama has to offer: the place where we started our trip is Las Lajas. We live here since last june and we fell in love with this place because is a quiet little town surrounding by green hills and with lovely houses , lots of flower gardens and close to a wonderful 15 miles sandy beach! Walking on the sand without shoes at sunset time is all you can desire in your life: freedom. Going to the left side of the beach we arrived to the outfall of the San Felix river: the sea waves become bigger and there are a lot of birds like parrots, herons and pelicans and it’s a great fishing spot. We also saw two mantas ray dancing in the water! Then we went by car to ... read more

After a long year of wait, we are again at the international airport Tocumen of Panama City. The choice for our accommodation in the capital, wasn’t that of our first journey in Panama, not in the “Casco Viejo”, but "Casa De Carmen", a very pleasant hostel with a big private garden situated in the zone of “Via España”, one of the commercial arteries of the Panamanian capital, very close to the modern bank zone of the city, enough expensive, but with an excellent breakfast included in the price every morning. In this green oasis in the middle of the big city we have had two days of excellent relax and adaptation to the tropical hot in February! This time we did a short trip to Taboga Island. Taboga is an Island not far from the coast ... read more

Hi! We are Erika and Fabio, two italian guys from Genoa and we went to Panama two times, then we moved to Chiriquì! We'd like you can discover the beauties of this country, by telling you our travel story! In the first trip we reached Panama City in a very hot panamanian summer night. The nocturnal atmosphere of the capital was marvellous, with its "skyline" of its new skyscrapers of “Punta Paitilla” seen by the "Casco Viejo" or "Casco Antiguo", the old neighbourhood in colonial style of world heritage UNESCO. A mix between modern development and colonial atmosphere so pretty! We stay in the capital just for two nights, at the "Hospedaje Cascoviejo" situated in the historic centre, visiting in the two following days the same Casco Viejo, the Miraflores locks and its museum, situated across ... read more
