I got my ticket today and so did my travel buddy. Woohoo, so excited! So this is the tentative itinerary... We fly into Casablanca on 5/15, plan on trying to at least go outside the Mosque and take some wonderful photos before hopping on the train to Rabat (55dh/32dh). From there go to Asilah (117dh/78dh), not giving much thought to to Tangier unless it is offering something above and beyond what is in Asilah. From there going to hop over to Fes (121dh/82dh). ...and I was so excited. You would have thought it was X-mas/Chanukkah or maybe my birthday in my office. I ordered the pack in small so it's only 56L instead of the M which is 60L.. oh well. Last year I decided that I wanted to spend some time in Morocco and I have officially commenced the planning and execution of everything I need before my flight takes off. I purchased by pack from REI yesterday and of course am anticipating its arrival. I decided on the REI Ridgeline Pack which is approx. 60L. I figure I will not fill more than 30-35L (my goal) so that I will have room for souvenirs along the way.
