bottle tree Roma.
The Kimberley has many many bottle trees or Boab as they are called up here,in fact we have one in our back yard,a large one near Derby was used to house prisoners when moving them to Brome,it is now a tourist attraction.............

Hi. I hope you enjoy your travel in Australia. I am not sure that it is a Spider nest, I think it could be an Ant nest, Green Leaf Ants. And the clever bird is a Bush Stone Curlew
