I had forgotten about some of the little things like eating cornish pasties and not being able to get out of the tube station and Mum insisting on always sitting in the front upstairs on the buses so we could see everything. Worked really, we saw so much of London! We had the best stay with you both. Thanks so much for putting up with us. We really loved being with you and looking forward to your visit at the end of the year. Luv u, Mum |
| 26th July 2009 Peter Craig | Great Read - lots of memories - From: Family Fun in the Capital Hi La & Al Got in at 10.30 last night after a fabulous trip. Joyfully welcomed by the furry kids. Been back at work now for 30 minutes and I hope to survive the day. Will tell you more when I know what is going on around me as I have to give some thought to the lessons I have to teach! I enjoyed this blog. It brought back good memories that have been pushed back by Tiananmen Square, the Great Wall, Forbidden City, etc. and I now realise how important our whole trip was. Thanks for looking after us so well in London. Mum tried for hours to message you and I am glad she finally made contact. Talk soon. Love Dad |
